Reasons I love this place: it’s got a great wellness center with hot pools and saunas. The location is shaded with many flowers and trees, the staff were helpful to any request. The view of Eger below is beautiful. Food is also good. 
The negative: the walls are super thin! You can clearly hear people using the bathroom in other rooms. 
Another giant negative: this hotel is the most wheelchair and baby carriage unfriendly hotel ever. There are tons of narrow cobbled paths and stairs. Zero elevators. There’s a run-down playground that looked too dangerous for my girl to use (needs a modern replacement). Our bed almost collapsed during our first night because the boards holding up the mattress weren’t bolted properly.
Overall a stay with an equal amount of good and bad points. 

Good and Bad Points

Really nice place to spend a long weekend far enough from Budapest but not that far (ca.1,5 hours by car). The hotel is located on the mountain but ca. 20 minutes by walk from the city center and 13-15 from the railway station. The hotel has a big garden with flowers, trees and a church for wedding. The buildings are connected under the ground so you do not need to dress up for wellness.

Cute place not far from Budapest

Very friendly staff. My first room was close to the restaurant and with windows open it was too loud for me. But I got another one without problems. Large compound, very quiet without traffic etc. but still walking distance to the city centre. Nice to visit Bükk National Park from here. Large Spa in good condition and an outside pool. Breakfast and cuisine was not extraordinary, but good. Prices are OK. Bed matress is not so good - cheap quality.

Nice quiet hotel with large Spa

Stayed one night at this hotel, a bit hard to find without a GPS ! The good thing is that you are in a quiet spot in a green area of the city. Downside is that it is a bit far from some attractions. 
People at reception were not particularly friendly (maybe because we arrived after 8 pm?) but in the restaurants they were... 
Room was spacious and beds were confortable, bathroom a bit old and sad, could be more cheerful. Did not use the swimming pool but walking in the garden was really pleasant ! We had dinner there due to our late arrival and the meal was nothing you would talk about back home...:-)

Good experience for one night

I was with a business trip in this hotel, with a group of people. The staff is very friendly and helpful - esp. the reception. I got complementary late check out, they changed my room, because I did not like the first one - the second one was much better. The food is excellent, especially for breakfast it was good to eat traditional Hungarian dishes - and not only meat and sussages, but also vegetarian ones, like eggplant cream, etc. 
The nationalist and deep religious attitude of the hotel - expressed with pictures, photos, flags, symbols - is very far from my taste, but for the one night I spent there, I did not care. There is a big difference, in which part of the hotel you sleep. The buliding number 4 is the worst one - you hear everything from the neighboring room - I spent there just 2 hours - and I learnt everything about Aniko's life (that was the neigbour's name), I understood every single word thorugh the walls. In the building number 2 - where I was able to move- thanks to the helpful staff (really nice people!), it was much better - I got a great, silent room.
