Spent some nights there in the past some months. Staff is super nice and helpful. Rooms are clean and quite. Breakfast is farely good you can find something to start your day with full belly. 😃 Center of Szombathely is in the nearby. You can reach it in 10 minutes on foot. 

Good 

The staff members (I met two of them) were both very polite, kind and also very helpful (e.g. in finding nearby restaurants etc.). The enteriour of the hotel is lovely. Checking in and out was easy, the WiFi worked fine. The heart of the city is just a healthy 10-min walk away from the hotel.

Unfortunately the cleanliness: there was a long spider's net hanging from the ceiling above the bed, and I found pieces of someone else's hair in the bathroom :(. Neither one was a huge disgust for me, but I think there are worth mentioning. However, the towels, the bed and the floor were properly cleaned. I had problems with sleeping, as three huge lights, placed just in front of my window were on the whole night - while the room had unfortunately only one curtain and no window blinds.
These are all minor "weaknesses" of the hotel, and in my mind easily and quickly repairable, that's why I mentioned them.

Higher than average, but some cleaning would be useful

It is a 3-star hotel. Friendly, but it needs urgent uplifting. Bathroom amenities not quite good, breakfast good but disorganized. It is in a small street, very calm, but still near to the center. Parking is free.

Placement is good

I would be hard pressed to say anything positive about this hotel maybe I would say that the WIFI was OK(ish)

The rest was just sad and dated, my bed was like a concrete slab, the air conditioning didn't work and the bath towel was like sandpaper.  To cool down my room, which was hotter than the surface of Venus, I propped open the small fridge door.

Interesting Air Conditioning

VERY dated. Stains, tears, unknown, and poor services. The only positive is the breakfast. Pictures tell the story. We put the sign on the door for room service, and never received it. Then cleaning would maybe drop off one new towel, when we didn't ask for it. Couldn't figure it out...Had to ask for bed sheets (which didn't fit) and was met with attitude like it was a HUGH inconvenience. Pillows were horrible. We paid for nights that we didn't stay and they wouldn't refund our money. I guess it states something in fine print, in Hungarian, but we were never told. The woman who booked the two rooms never sent the paperwork and wasn't even at that location when we checked in. We weren't expecting high quality, but we didn't even get low quality...
