I booked this hotel through cleartrip.com and was afraid how it would be??? but it was good, rooms were clean and the room service was perfect. I would really like to thank their chef who made such a wonderful dinner for us although the menu was limited but it must say food and service was perfect. It is very easy locate and very close to the main road. Had a good experience with them....:)

Value for money

Actually this was second time to stay in Queens Shree Jee Inn Haridwar. I stayed there in June 2010 when I was on tour with my family. Now in December 2010, I was with my Grandparents.

The hotel is newer but has nice services. Rooms are little bit smaller but well packed to prevent cold. Air conditioner is available for summer. 

It is just 1 km away from famous Har Ki Paudi. It is easy to leave for Rishikesh as hotel is on Haridwar-Rushikesh road.

We reached hotel later afternoon, it was dark and cold. They welcomed us with gratitude. They provided us thick blankets in the rooms. 

We asked for in room food. Menu was quite short but selective. We ordered mix vegetable, roti and rice with dal makhani. Food was delicious and served hot. Dal Makhani was awesome and cooked to perfection. Rotis were soft and Tawa made, not tanduri ones. 

I also asked for Boiled Bisleri water for my Grandma, they provided it very soon. 

We just had one night stay in the Hotel. Next day we woke up and ordered Parathas for breakfast. Parathas were too very nice and roasted well. We had very good breakfast with hot cup of tea after parathas. 

We left hotel around 9AM to proceed for site seeing of Haridwar and Rishikesh. 
Food was correctly priced and healthy. They seen off us with gratitude. 
Would certainly stay there anytime I stay in Haridwar.

Convineint Place to live at Haridwar

On arrival at Haridwar, we were told by the locals that this hotel is located far from the city centre (Har ki Pauri Ghat). We ignored them as we relied on the website and Make my trip which claimed '1km from Har Ki Pauri'. On reaching Har ki Pauri we were panick stricken and extremely stressed out to see that the locals were actually right and the hotel is at least 8-10kms from Har Ki Pauri! It is located in Haridwar-Rishikesh Highway. I called Make my trip to reconfirm and they were not very helpful and the most alarming of it all was .. the service agent had the audacity to ask me to participate in a consumer survey on the phone with him while I was stranded in a new city in the extreme summer hit and local crowd gathering around me to make some money!!!! We eventually had to pay Rs 150 to reach the hotel which turned out to be the size of an inobtrusive mouse hole! Everytime we had to eat or see around, we had to travel to Har Ki Pauri and spend Rs 200!! I was very frustrated to see that there were loads of hotels available right opp kar ki pauri main entrance and most definately cheaper than ours. 
We had ordered an AC car for sightseeing and we what was waiting for us was an auto rickshaw that was Rs 100 less than the AC car and we were given no reasonable justification as to why the car we ordered was not there!! The two days in this hotel was such a nightmare and marred our haridwar trip altogether! It was extortionate to spend so much money in travelling back and forth as the city centre was so far and we spent most of our time in the hotel.
