The room & the washroom was clean. They have their own restaurant named 'Top Secret' and the food was too delicious as compared to other restaurants. The South Indian Thali is a must try. Owners are very kind and down to earth. Just go for it!!! Highly recommended for stay & food both!

Best stay & food!

Great price and location in Hampi... Good variety and quality of food served from the restaurant. Friendly and helpful service too - there is a good travel office nearby to book trains and buses etc..

Excellent backpackers

Simple accommodation with great food and chill out area, amazing location next to Hampi Bazar and all transport, go and watch the elephant being bathed between 7:30 and 8:30 down at the river (it can arrive at any time) and enjoy a tuk tuk tour of the south of hampi in a day if you're interested in all the temples and ruins.

Backpackers, cheap, great location

Stayed here for a few nights with my buddy. Had a really good view from upstairs, Top Secret resto is also a nice place to hangout. Wifi didnt really work but cannot expect anything more in a small village. Prices were ok, not expensive. We stayed in a private room, it was big enough but oh boy, the smell. It smelled very moldy and like someone smoked there before we checked in, tried to leave door open and windows but smell stayed. Location was just in the heart of town so everything is 5minutes walk. The crew was awesome! Funny and very helpful :) 

Good enough

This place looks ok from the outside but:

The staff is extremely rude (when the manager is here it's better but it's not the case usually)- we ended up asking locals for information instead of the staff.

They don't change sheets between guests.

It doesn't look like they clean the toilets

They charged us for our food twice, and the rude staff member wouldn't even lift his eyes from his phone when we asked about it.

it could be a nice place if they'll try, but now it's not the case.

Okay - I can only speak to the budget rooms.   I booked online in advance, and when I arrived, they showed me a disgusting dark hole that literally looked like a place a terrorist would take you to torture you.  No window and so filthy I wouldn't have put my backpack down on the bed, much less my body.  Coudn't run away fast enough!
