KSTDC Vijayanagara TB Dam was a pleasant surprise. Super-spacious, excellent room with modern facilities, ample parking space. Staff were courteous. The whole premises were spick n spot clean. Restaurant was poorly stuffed due to sparse guests, but food was good. An excellent option to stay in Hospet.

Clean and modern KSTDC Hotel

A very satisfying stay we had at Mayura Vijayanagar with my family. Location of the hotel is perfect.Each and every staff of this hotel, starting from maushis,office staff, cook were helpful, courteous, cooperative and friendly. The Manager at the reception and Mr Uwaiz Takkalki were always on their feet to check the cleanliness of rooms, and every requirements of the guests.Mr Uwaiz's ability to speak in Hindi and English fluently helped a lot.The restaurant Manager was such kind and prompt and cheerful person. The foods served were delicious.This hotel definitely needs a special mention of the warmth in their staff.

Mr. Lakshmi Nayaran and Uwaiz Takkalki, the people at the herd of this place took very good care of us. Really nice place with a great ambience and perfect location for all the sightseeing. The staff was warm and very helpful.

Had a wonderful stay in Hotel Mayura in August between 21-25Aug with family.
Spacious and privacy stay.

Booked 6 rooms for 3 nights and stay is awesome.
Very good view from hotel and near TO TB Dam. Best location.

Excellent venue for family and friends

This hotel is conveniently located - just a 2 minute walk from the T.B.dam entrance.

Don't go by some of the old photos of the rooms - they have been renovated and are modern now - with modern linen, flooring, bathrooms, airconditioning and flat TV. But it's still a basic budget hotel. No other amenities as such.

Service by the manager in charge Mr.DSouza is excellent, though the other staff are mostly laidback.

Food is not good at all - and not much choice. Basic stuff like idli/dosas are not up to the mark.

Parking is ample and secure.

Clean and comfortable basic rooms, poor food

We visited TB Dam and Hampi with my family and stayed at Mayura TB Dam.

The staff is courteous and friendly.  The places are accessible to hotels, some restaurants, and Khanavali are nearby. The medical facility is accessible and places to buy fruits and basic things are easily reachable.  The hotel has clean rooms, and building though old has its own charm. It's a no-frills hotel, no water bottle, no shampoo and kettle, iron in the room. Hot water does not work and no in-room water heater exists. TV did not work all days and no WIFI in the room.  Ample parking space and good garden. 

TB dam is a stone throw away and Hampi is 12 KM. Had an excellent visit.

Stay and Mayura TB Dam

We have recently stayed in Hotel Mayura Vijayanagara TB Dam. Although the building is old but rooms are renovated recently with modern amenities. Neat room and bathroom, with flat screen TV. It's a kind of no frills hotel, water bottle, hot water kettle, mini fridge are not provided. Food is good at the restaurant. Ample parking spaces are available. Wi-Fi is available only in the reception area.

Nice stay closed to TB Dam

The hotel is in a great location which is very close to National Highway. Guests can enjoy the on site restaurant and the hotel is very close to Tungabhadra Dam. Staff are very accommodative and courteous . The rooms are well equipped with free WiFi facility. There is a Beer bar too. Very good connectivity from hotel to dam.

Great Location! Good connectivity , Close to National Highway

Good to stay as very close to TB dam. Food is also good.  Bath rooms where neat. Breakfast and dinner.  Friendly staff. We could order taxi from reception. Good Open area. Parking is good. Lot of open area for kids to run around.

Staff is very cooperative and welcoming. They guided us for tour planning!This hotel is under renovation!It will take 5 to 6 months and it is told that it will be very beautifully renovated as per their plan. Presently rooms are not having mosquito net, so problem with ventilation when windows are closed. Place is very near to TB dam!
