Very good experience in the resort staying here was full of joy with an extraordinary view and it was the first time we visited here and It all got the luxury and we went to padmanabha swamy temple after that which was very nearby and it was excellent

Excellent

Our recent encounter with this resort left much to be desired. Unfortunately, our stay was abruptly canceled due to overbooking, a situation exacerbated by the lack of prior notification. This unforeseen circumstance unfolded as we arrived with our six-month-old children, and despite the late hour (10 PM), we were denied check-in.

The lack of communication regarding the cancellation was particularly disheartening, and the inconvenience caused, especially with young children, was challenging to navigate. Such incidents can significantly impact the overall impression of a property.

Regrettably, based on our experience, I would hesitate to recommend this resort to others. The unexpected cancellation and subsequent denial of check-in, especially when traveling with infants, have left us with a negative perception of the property.

In the spirit of constructive feedback, I hope the management addresses these issues to prevent similar inconveniences for future guests.

Comfortable environment to make a holiday enjoyable with family. Great location to enjoy the beauty of Kovalam with family. Services was excellent and all loved the stay at Golden Sands. Enjoyed the day with kids.

Excellent place to stay in trivandrum near kovalam beach. Welcome drink was awesome. Very neat and clean. Staffs are very supportive and friendly nature. Swiming pul is there for swimming. Breakfast is also very good.

home away from home

This sweet spot is located footsteps from the beach, with comfortable and chic rooms, air conditioning, and a private swimming pool.  There is a gorgeous terrace overlooking the pool, and their service is very good.  The staff is accommodating, and overall I'd highly rate this place and look forward to bringing my loved ones to stay again!

A delightful accommodation!

Awesome place this is. Had met Mr Pradeep the owner. Gem of a person. The hospitality And the food is fabulous. Walking distance to the beach. Golden sands is a haven for travellers not familiar to Kovalam. Wishing them good luck. 

We didn't book the rooms since it was low season, but managed to find space easily. We chose this hotel because it was clean, well-maintained, and it had a beautiful pool, and we weren't disappointed.
The rooms were basic, but each had a balcony overlooking the pool, the garden and palm trees. The staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome, always quick to say hello and help with any queries (especially the chef and waiter). 
Wi-fi was great.
The position is fine: though it isn't on the beach, it is very close, and I imagine in high season it would offer some respite from the promenade which must get very busy.
We stayed for a week, but would quite happily have stayed for longer, and would happily use this hotel for future visits.

Great value for money

I and my family stayed in December 2017 two weeks at Goldensands Hotel. It was a perfect time at a perfect place. The location of the hotel - in the shade of palm trees, with a swimming pool in the center - is fantastic. It is a calm and and pleasant - an ideal place to relax. Nevertheless, there are only a few meters distance to the beautiful shore. 
The hotel rooms are spacious and luxuriously furnished. The bathroom is always with hot water for a shower. We liked very much to sit at the balcony and watch the tropic scenery.
The site and rooms are perfectly clean - and the staff took care to keep them clean during the stay - what was not easy with days spent at the sandy beach.
To come to the staff: I found rarely in India such friendly and warm hearted people. Always helpful and trying to fulfill any wish you might have. This is where you truly relax. We also took an Ayurveda massage at the hotel site, which was great. And the evenings we mostly spent in the hotel restaurant, in the open space beside the pool, eating great dinner of fresh seafood or drinking a beer.
All in all, I can fully recommend this place for a stay, in any respect.

Fantastic place for vacation, excellent service

It is super ultimate beach. On one side it has Arabian sea on the other side the backwaters of Kerala. It is very clean beach near poovar island. It also has an elephant rock nearby. It has golden color sand due to which it is named golden sand beach. One should visit this place while going to kerala.
