Rooms are excellent with great location, very near to main market yet peaceful. Staff were excellent. Cleanliness of rooms and overall property best in Mount abu. Ritesh and Mathew are the jems of this property who ensure that guest walks out with smile.

Best hotel in Mount abu

I stayed at H G Grandiose from 30th July 2022 to 02nd August 2022 and my entire stay has been excellent. I had booked normal category room but I had requested the hotel to give me a free room upgrades as we were going for our anniversary trip. They said they would try. We reached early morning at 6 am and they immediately let us check in. We got a room with no balcony and then we requested to give us room upgrade right away and they did immediately. We got a room with great view from balcony. The room service is excellent and super quick. The entire staff is extremely polite and genuinely cares for their guests. They arranged for a vehicle from hotel itself at a very nominal rate. The hotel is just 5 minutes walking distance from Nakki Lake, City Market and excellent eating joints around. The FOOD WAS TOO TOO TOO GOOD. The Aloo Puri is to die for and Egg Bhurji is of another level. Their Ala Carte menu is reasonably priced and any food that you order for room in dining will never disappoint you. Trust me; book this hotel for your stay without any second thought. It is the cleanest and the best property in the surrounding area. PLEASE GO FOR THIS PROPERTY ONLY IF YOU ARE VISITING MOUNT ABU.

walk-able distance from nakki lake, sunset point is also near.., peaceful place, Rooms are nice. small Garden is also there in hotel. we stayed at groundfloor room, but select rooms at upstairs or i can say upper floor would be added advantage.

Location is good - peaceful area

It is nice hotel with good furnished rooms. Rooms are clean and category of rooms are equivalent to 4 / 5 star property. Hotel have a small garden area which you will like it. first floor garden view is excellent.I ( Deepak ACharya ) stayed last week 17th Jan 2018 with family and they enjoyed the stay. 
Positive : It is cleaned and nice property, near to lack and sunset point. They have a parking area
Negative : They have a dinning area still they asked us to have dinner in rooms and when we asked them if we can bring the food from outside - hotel manager agreed to that but he said hotel will not provide any plate or bowl to eat :(

Near to lack / Sunset point. Family stay

This is one of the very good options for staying with family.

Before booking the hotel I had called on its number (given in Google) which was i believe the owner's number, and he answered to all my queries in very satisfactory way. Soon after i talked to him i went ahead and booked this. I can tell you, i did NOT regret. 

Moreover, based on the hotel's picture we had sent an email request for a particular location of room (Garden Facing, with Balcony as can see in photo) and they allotted us the same kind of room! Very impressive.

We reached there early in morning at around 6 AM and they allowed us to check-in early without any extra charges as the room was vacant. Room was very nice, tidy and comfortable. It was same as you can see in picture on the website. Hot water was also available till 11 AM which is convenient.

Location is exactly opposite the Polo Ground so it is very near to the Market and the Lake. Walking distance from the bus-stand too. You need to be prepared to walk a bit though as it is like opposite of the middle part of the ground but it could be fine. 

Only one experience which was not pleasant. One of the house-keeping staff told me that he would get me drinks from out side. (I will not mention his name as i actually do not want him to be in trouble. Plus, for this we cannot blame the hotel at all.) For a particular one he said its 150 and for the one which i has asked for he said the shopkeeper took 200. I said okay no problem and i also gave him some tip money as he gave me this service.
But with my great surprise,
when i personally visited the same shop the next day the shop keeper took only 110 and 150 respectively for the same thing! Now i realized that on previous day the hotel guy already cheated me for a total of 180 plus i gave tip!
Well,
not a much big deal as it was a small but something which is wrong, is just wrong. I thought this experience must be shared.

If the hotel keeps a Electric cattle for tea-coffee making like ho majority of other hotels do then it would be great. This is a real suggestion to the hotel.

Apart from this one small un-pleasant experience everything was very much satisfying. Rooms were, as i said, very nice and comfortable. View from room was not bad. They provide a table and chair in balcony so you can enjoy sun in morning (winters) with a cup of coffee.

Will surely prefer to stay here on my next visit.

'Recommended for Family and Couples'

It's a Good and Decent Place to stay

1. Rooms are quite good but views which we see in photos won’t be there as they don’t add those rooms for online booking that’s what owner said when I asked for those rooms
2. Another point I didn’t liked is it very noisy around your rooms the phone on the desk of your floor keeps ringing and you can hear that in your room plus you can hear other guests voices as area around rooms are congested.

Apart from those two hotel staff was polite and helping, I could have gave one more star but with such noise around rooms and expectations of views destroyed, can’t give it so think before you book it :)

Staff needs to be professionally trained. Food good. Amenities exist but not up to mark, particularly hot water, bathroom fittings. not geared to take advantage of location. Just a luxurious hotel as find during my discussions.

Yet to upgrade to look and act professional

stay was quite good. Room are clean n neat. food is also good. l loved the masala kulcha..there is no good ambiance.. Because it was covered by other hotels.  we visited in January with so chilled  climate n they don't have the heaters n room or not even hot bags... staff were so polite.  Location was very good close to market n nakki late..
