The staff were very welcoming when we arrived and helpful during our visit. The food was generous, attractively presented and delicious. Our room was stylish, comfortable and clean. The complimentary massage was just what we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed our early morning walk to the bottom of the waterfall led by the property’s knowledgeable and attentive naturalist. We enjoyed the swimming pool in fact we enjoyed it all. We would highly recommend for those wanting peace and tranquility in a beautiful setting.

a beautiful property, with a view of athirapally waterfalls from each room. excellent location, a bit on the pricey side.
lovely staff, always helpful to our need. they also have a complimentary food massage and hike to the falls with their staff. the food is authentic kerala cuisine. food is only served in the dining area (no room service). 
they do have wifi, but the connection is not good. the room are below the ground level and you need to climb stairs to go to your room and back to the dining area. so be careful to book this property if you have mobility issues or knee problems.

"Stayed at the Rainforest Wellness Resort in Athirapally from the 16th to 18th October with my wife, and the experience was nothing short of magical. Waking up to the breathtaking view was a daily treat, complemented by the delightful sounds of birds chirping. The treehouse offered an immersive experience that's hard to describe in words. During our stay, we were fortunate to spot playful monkeys, samba deers, and various birds right within the property grounds.

The culinary offerings were another highlight – every meal was a journey of flavors. A massive shoutout to Manager Zakir Hussain for his exceptional hospitality, ensuring our stay was truly memorable. Additionally, Naturist Suresh introduced us to the hidden gems of the area, guiding us through offbeat nature trails and helping us spot wildlife even in the dark. Our cycling adventure spotting waterfalls with the Ayurvedic Doctor Suraj was exhilarating. Not to mention, the Ayurvedic massage under his expert supervision was both therapeutic and informative.

To anyone considering a stay here: it's a blend of nature, luxury, and top-notch service. Highly recommended!"

"Nature's Paradise with Exceptional Hospitality"

Wonderful resort with spectacular views. 

Stayed during a wedding so didn’t get too much of a chance to explore the area. 

Views from breakfast area, rooms and pool were amazing

On a whole would definitely recommend a short stay here to get away from everything

Only downside is Wi-Fi didn’t work nor did being able to pay by card upon leaving property

Wonderful place

A very well located resort facing the majestic waterfalls which can be visited by doing a small trek . Avery well trained and warm front desk team . The staff and managers are delight to guest with their warm interactions and suggestions about the local place . The chef gets 10/10 on good food preparation of Kerala cuisine . We enjoyed Sadhya served on banana leave during lunch . A relaxing laid back 2 days .

A very well located resort , facing the waterfalls with very warm hospitality .

If anyone has not visited Kerala, this should definitely be on their list. Rainforest property is perfectly located on the waterfall and the team is so warm and humble. They make you feel at home and  let you experience the rich culture and surroundings of god’s own country. A must must visit. Their lunch (traditional sadya) gave us the taste of brilliant Kerala food and culture served with warmth and smiles. I left the place spellbound.  

Heaven on earth

We stayed in their celestial room, which had beautiful view of the Athirapalli waterfalls. 
The continuous roaring of the waterfalls with the complimentary foot massage was so so relaxing.
The room had jacuzzi which we enjoyed.
They offer u kerala cuisine for all meals-very tasty and what adds to it is the view of waterfalls.
Staff is humble, helpful and soft spoken. 
The waterfalls entry ticket counter is just 2 mins away from the resort.
They also have their herbal tea  for sale- u can buy and njoy at ur own place.
Overall, very nice experience… would definitely like to visit again and recommend others to stay..

Cannot get over the majestic view

We arrived after a long flying for 7 hrs and 2hrs of driving. As soon as we came to the reception our tiredness vanished with the view of the water fall. It’s so mesmerizing that we forgot to go to the room allotted. Yet the real magic was awaiting in the room. As soon as we enter our room our jaws were dropped at the majestic view of the fall. Really one can eat with sleep with dream with the fall.
We had a very delicious traditional lunch at the resort. The fall is so addictive that everywhere we went we find the fall. Every food is locally sourced and tasty. Really we had a wonderful experience there.

Eat drink sleep dream bath with the water fall

Had a wonderful 2 night stay in the treehouse at rainforest resort. It may be a bit pricey but the treehouse is worth the cost. It has such a wonderful view of the falls and the sound is just amazing. The tree house has air on and WiFi so is super comfortable and we enjoyed just sitting on the balcony watching the falls and deer, both of which are just fantastic.
The food was delicious and although it is a set menu they discuss it with you and make sure it is something you will enjoy, which we certainly did. The only thing is that the pool area could do with a bit of sprucing up but I think it is little used at that time of year. All the staff were super friendly and courteous. A must place to visit if you want a special memories.

A place to make memories

We travelled as a family of 5 people with an infant. The hotel and rooms have a fantastic view of the waterfall. Comfortable and elegant decor was seen. There is a great massage and steam service. Good service generally. Things to improve: WiFi connection, hot water consistency and breakfast variety of foods.
