We were on a one day daytime tour to Agra with parents and uncle and family members on 14/10/14. Opted the Uday Bed and Breakfast for a first time experience as we always prefer for family run guest houses. The experience after checking in far exceeded the expectations of a family run hospitality venture. Mr U B Singh the owner was ever  eager to serve us with whatever help and assistance we would look for. Our day started with home made stuffed Puris and sabzi made by Mrs Singh. Though two of us had intended to have breakfast, the taste and recipe of local cuisine tempted others too to join us. The location of the GH is very good and convenient being a residential area. Mr Singh has good connect with Taxi/Auto agencies for very reasonably priced pick up and drop from Station. The Rooms are very large, spotlessly clean, with modern amenities, running hot and cold water, fresh furnishing and relaxed ambience. There is a good open sit-out in  first floor where one could laze around in breezy environment, sipping tea or browsing on your laptop or reading books. A very interesting and experienced  person in hospitality industry having retired from a leading hospitality hotel  chain , Shri Singh would keep you in good humor with various stories and cultural experiences of  guests and visitors to Agra. Food and snacks home cooked and served by the family speaks of warmth and affection which is what you relish more and  are very reasonable priced personally by Mr Singh, without any formal menu systems. Looking forward to stay more with Uday B&B soon and seek what We would have missed during this short one day trip. Overall a very wonderful and thrilling experience.

Home away from Home

The hotel is situates around 3 kms from Taj Mahal. Mr. Uday Bhan Singh, the owner of this place is a very kind and helpful person. Always keen to serve you better...the most important thing is that we felt a homely environment at this place..The place can not be defined a commercial place...you always feel yourself a part of this family. Food cooked at their own kitchen was awesome and delicious. Mr. Uday Bhan Singh accompanied us while taking dinner...Felt very satisfactory....First time I stayed at a home stay...truly Home Stay....

Excellent Stay

Definitely recommend to visitors". Hotel's room are very clean and specious. I got a very good accommodation and hospitality as well. Staff were very supportive. Specially I would like to admire manager as he was soooooo caring. If I have to describe my views in a single I will say: "The hotel is a perfect accommodation for a stay in Agra. HOME AWAY FROM HOME.

Excellent stay

I booked two rooms at this place. This place was quite filthy and when we requested for cleaning the rooms, we were told that it can be done only next. It seems the person whom we met at this place might have been drunk. My family was not ready to stay at this place and we had to make alternative arrangements in a hurry. So pls avoid unless a bachelor and on a budget.

Filthy place

Every hotel gives us a special experience while we were stayed there. We expect some good service worth of your value of money. This hotel rooms are good but some lacking of cleaning in bathroom and quite environment, cable connection was not proper, phone was not working properly, and host service also be lazy. While taking about food is average but dining options are bad, I wish next time I will find another best option.
