It was a very comfortable stay. Hosts were flexible with check in / check out time and I was able to drop off my luggage as soon as I arrived in Delhi. Cosy and spacious room overlooking a small garden in a quiet neighbourhood with security guard outside. Basic amenities were provided. Above all, I enjoyed very much our chat and a homemade masala tea in the beautiful apartment. The next hotel I was moving into was not able to arrange a complimentary car transfer and the taxi we called did not arrive, the hosts were so kind to drop me at the hotel which was a few minutes away.

Totally loved my stay at the homey & arty B&B

Maulsari is a Home stay Hotel, I believe that is what they are called. It is run by Anu and Rishi, a wonderful couple. The room I stayed in is huge, with AC and self contained. The bed is huge, there is a couch as well as a table so one is really comfortable. there is also free wifi as well as a kettle and coffee, tea and sugar.

Anu and Rishi are very friendly, very helpful as well. The day I arrived Rishi drove me to change money and then dropped me off at Khan Market with instructions for how I could get home. Each day, I was greeted in the morning, and on coming back in after my trips. Anu wrote me a detailed plan with map for how I could spend a day of window shopping, where to eat etc. They also organized a taxi for me for a day trip to Agra at a very good price. My stay was very efficiently spent due to their tips and planning for me.

A home away from home

I stayed at Maulsari Bed & Breakfast in February 2014 and had a wonderful experience. Everything was arranged by the owner to make the stay successful. Rishi and Anu are both so warm and caring people! The room was perfect and very spacious. There was a small refrigerator in the room as well and it was kept very clean throughout the visit. The neighborhood that this Bed & Breakfast is in is really excellent and you can feel safe walking to the nearby restaurant and market, which was extremely helpful. I consider this to be one of the hidden gems in New Delhi for the convenience, price, and hospitality. I would recommend it for either business or leisure travel with family and would arrange to stay there again next time I return to New Delhi!

Wonderful Stay at Maulsari Bed & Breakfast!

We stayed in Maulsari and it was really great . The owners were very help full and the place is also very neat and clean.
We also needed local transport which was arranged by owner 
It's a family place and very warm.
Room's are big and well kept

More than the generously sized room and the bonsai garden that soothed our frazzled nerves, the warmth of the hosts, Rishi and Anu made a big difference to our stay. Although we were on official business, we felt we were never away from home. Don't forget to wake up early and walk briskly around the colony. You may be surprised to meet a hawk on the road, hear a tiger roar from the zoo, in addition to the several wonderful breeds of dogs on their early morning constitutional. Definitely recommended stay especially if you have several days work in the capital of India.

Fabulous Stay

Located in a quiet safe residential area within easy walking distance of several good restaurants. Our room was large but not quite as attractive as the photos show. Advertised as a bed & breakfast we were very disappointed to find that the breakfast consisted of tea bags/instant coffee/powdered creamer; a few packets of biscuits such as bourbons & a chocolate Swiss roll; a small loaf of sliced bread & cheese spread. Filtered drinking water was provided every day together with 2 bottles of spring water. Wi-fi was okay but switched off for the night every evening. Since this is a private house make sure you request a house key as otherwise someone needs to be in if you want access. On the whole it seems overpriced as when we returned to Delhi a few weeks after our stay, we found a boutique hotel a few streets away in the same community & for barely any extra money we enjoyed a much higher standard of room & decor, service & breakfast.
