This was in many ways an extraordinary stay. It is a large house that was a family house but now rents a large number of its rooms. They were very kind to us because the owners family had blocked many rooms for a family wedding. They were still happy to let us stay. 
There were a variety of reasonably priced rooms downstairs and a kitchen area and dining area with a small TV lounge attached. 
 Upstairs we believe are more spacious and well appointed rooms but the family had those during our stay. 
 The family and the hotel manager were fantastic. They sent out for breakfast and evening meal and simply could not do enough for us. 
 It was about 20 minutes into the superb Madurai temple by rickshaw and the area is peaceful. 
 Well worth giving a go to if you want something a bit different.

Great stay!

Arranged a marriage group Stay here for 40 people's it was so conveniently occupied. And everyone is so satisfactorily enjoyed their Stay, we enjoyed with home theatres in House, kitchen for cooking, Garden for relaxing. This Guest house bungalow is so extraordinary and suite's you the Best. Guaranteed satisfied!

Wonderful Peaceful Place Guest house bungalow

Embedded in a nicely kept garden, very quiet surroundings, very safe we have spent Christmas here and can recommend this guest house to fellow travellers. The kitchen and dining room was at our command and helped a lot with preparing the breakfast we like to have.
Very friendly service people, safe parking for our vehicle, green grass, well kept, chicken in the garden running free, music from a near temple---what more can one expect in this busy world?! Very reliable Internet connection (free)...I almost forgot while writing this ;-)

Lovely Homestay away from home...

One of the best home stay and you'll feel at home. All the staff's are very courteous and helpful. We had taken 6 rooms in total for 6 families/friends. There are four rooms in the ground floor with a hall/kitchen. & there are four rooms upstairs with a big hall. All are very spacious, clean and well maintained rooms with attached bathrooms for most of the rooms. We have ordered for breakfast and it was tasty enough. Close by to MDU city airport, railway station and meenakshi amman temple. Probably 10 mins. The manager and the owner are very helpful and made sure they helped in all means (arranging their own cab for the day trip) throughout our stay.

Worth it for a short stay with a home like ambience in a perfect and calm place inside the city.

Home stay away from home!

1. Took the entire house for 1 week.
2. Need to pay for water separately. (Reason: no rain)
3. No privacy. One of the staff came upstairs and instructed to switch off the light. (Ladies were getting ready upstairs)
4. Need to pay separately for hsekeeping
5. Water heaters are so old. The pipes was loose. Most of it was not working.
6. No water pressure on the first floor washrooms.
7. No electric power back up. 

Everything is money..!!
