Stay here for 4 nights from 4.2.16 to 8.2.16. with my parents, spouse and child. Near about 1.2 kms from godolia.. 1.7 from Daswassamedh Ghat.. 2 kms from newly designed Assi Ghat, which is the best ghat according to me including Sandhya Aroti. Specially not on narrow lane like other one. Transport like Auto and Rickshaw always available just outside the hotel main door.
Owner Mr. Dubeyji is a nice person and to much helpful. He arranges car for sight seen, guide for Mandir, Ghat and Boat visit also with very reasonable price. Staffs also are very polite and friendly. Lovely food. No Restaurant. Room service available. Strong WiFi connection.
Deluxe Room with Balcony, welcoming by Monkey, Big Bathroom with running hot water and King size bed also. No lift available. 1st floor preferable for aged person.. Room no. 106(Deluxe room), 107 and 108.

Lastly say, not expect like a 3 star or 5 star hotel. Budget tourist with homely atmosphere  must stay here without hesitation.



Must Stay Family Hotel

I stayed in Giriraj Inn, Varanasi for 4 days. It is a wonderful place to stay with excellent service. The rooms are big and clean. The food is superb. They have a guide called Pandey-ji who is very co-operative and helpful. I visited a lot of place in and around Varanasi along with Mr. Pandey and it was a really nice experience.
I would say this is one of the best hotels available at his price.

Nice stay in Giriraj Inn

Our auto driver took us to this hotel.Nice hotel with all basic amenities.Service is excellent .The staff were very cordial and prompt.Hotel rooms  and bathrooms were clean.The location of the hotel is also very good with easy availability of transports .



I happened to go to Hotel GIRIRAJ INN accidentally in 2012 for the first time. I had a booking in another hotel. But when I reached Kashi there was heavy downpour and the city was flooded. The auto I hired from the station suggested "GIRIRAJ", as Shivala- Sonarpura area where Giriraj is situated, is a place doesn't get flooded even during worst rainfall.
After that, I made 4 visits to Kashi and always my favourite choice of stay is GIRIRAJ. Kashi has become my favourite destination not only because of Swami Vishwanath but also the hospitality we enjoyed in GIRIRAJ INN.
The Hotel is ideally located- 2.5 KMs from Swami Vishwanath Mandir/ Dashashwamedh Ghat. 2 KMs on the other side is the famous Assi Ghat.
Kedar Ghat which is very well suited for Ganga Snan and boating facilities is walking distance from GIRIRAJ.
Restaurants with South North options are plenty. More than everything it is the courteous behaviour of the Staff followed by excellent service along with the best hospitality of the Owners, Sri Mitheleshji and Radheshyamji which makes you feel at Home. 
I am looking forward to my next trip in Apri 2016.

Comfortable place to stay when in Kashi/ Varanasi

As I reached Varanasi our autowala took us to Giriraj Inn where we got to know that all rooms are booked except one, right behind the reception counter so we took it.

The manager offered that room to us at Rs. 1250/- per day (non ac) but when I negotiated, he offered me Rs. 1100/- per day (non ac)

Wifi was there but there was no coverage in my room!

While checking out he promised us the following-

1) Room Booking at a phone call from next time
2) A.C. Room at Rs.1250/- per day
3) Successful room booking even at peek booking periods also

So, finally a good deal for everyone who stay there more than 1 time, although it's a good budget hotel
