Dit resort is een verademing. Wat een rust en sfeer: in en om het Javaanse hoofdgebouw en op het privéstrand. De medewerkers zijn zó voorkomend; ze regelen ook je uitstapjes op het eiland incl. taxi. We hadden een prima huisje.  Ga niet in juli of augustus, dan is het vol. 
This resort is a breath of fresh air. What an atmosphere: in and around the Javanese main building and on the private beach. The employees are so personable; they also arrange your trips on the island incl. taxi. We had a great bungalow. Don't go in July or August, it will be full.

A great place to rest and enjoy.  Eén al genieten

The owner managed to create a true paradise on the marvelous island Karimunjava. The staff is warm and friendly, the rooms are very clean, spacious and have all breathtaking views. We extend our stay, and slept in 3 different accommodations in Breve Azurine. But in the superior suite you feel royal. I want to live here 😊.

This hotel has lovely bungalows with beautiful views. They have a private beach with decent snorkelling and great kayaking and they provide free snorkelling equipment and kayaks. They provided a good breakfast and the restaurant was nice. We enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful environment.

Beautiful bungalows with lovely views

The most beautiful resort I stayed at in my life. The view of the lagoon from the pergola and the restaurant (and the honeymoon suite) is a vision straight out of fantasies and dreams. It’s incredibly quiet. The only “noises” (I call them jungle-shore melodies) you will hear are those of geicos, crickets, and of course blue Azurine birds. 
The staff (Wulan and all the other delightful people) is incredibly lovely and helpful, they will help arrange ferry tickets and even organise retour transport to the cities on main land Java. The service provided at the restaurant is outstanding.
Jean-Marc will make you feel at home, tell you about the culture of the island and provide really interesting insights on Karimun. He is working at building a library in the hotel based on the generosity of visitors, in a variety of languages - so on top of that you can fill your head with inspiring stories.
The tour (I did a full day island hoping) organised by the hotel will help you realise the chance you have being here and bearing witness of the beauty of the island, the sea, and all of the nature around it.

Stayed in heaven for a few days

One of my travel dreams was to visit Karimunjawa. This year my dream came true. The islands were as gorgeous as I hoped. We stayed four nights on the main island, Pulau Karimunjawa, but also saw some smaller islands. The sea is incredibly clear and blue, the beaches are clean and funky (don’t miss the Sunset Bar on Sunset Beach), the street food is nice (go to the lively night market) and the nature is overwhelmingly lush. In the middle of the green scenery of Karimunjawa we found the ideal location: Breve Azurine Lagoon. This place has a large garden where monkeys iike to play too. I can fully understand them. This is a fun place. When the tide is right you can swim in the lagoon in front of the hotel. Kayaking is also a possibility – free of charge. Did I already mention that we had a bungalow with a bathroom outside, including a bathtub? Great! We also loved having breakfast here. Staring at the sea and savouring Indonesian food or one of the Western options (pancakes, homemade bread). We found it extremely difficult to leave this place. The main reason were the warm and kind employees of this hotel. Not only the personnel in the restaurant, but also the people from housekeeping and the gardeners. I am especially grateful for everything Iga did for us. What a super woman! Sweet, funny, charming and clever. She really did her utmost to make our stay unforgettable and she succeed in just doing that. She arranged some nice trips for us, including the best snorkel trip of my life. I tend to be nervous while snorkelling, but the instructor managed to make me feel safe and confident. I will never forget what I saw under the water. Thank you Iga for arranging that. I hope to see you again, one fine day. Keep working the way you do. Keep being Iga! All the best, dear.

A slice of paradise (with a super woman)

The place is impressive, with its beautiful nature, stunning views and it’s hospitable and friendly staff made our vaccation onforgettable. It felt like paradise and made an indelible impression. We definitely come back. 

Paradise on karimunjawa

This is unspoiled paradise and I hope it can stay unspoiled.  The hotel is rustic beauty with all amenities.  The staff is wonderful and will take care of all of your needs.  The food is great.  A little slice of heaven.

Perfection.

I stayed there for a day, because even if you are not staying there you can have access for a day. 
I enjoyed the view from the deck chair, had a really good lunch and did some kayaking to explore the wonderful island !

Peaceful and beautiful  

We stayed here with our 2 teen kids for 5 nights and highly recommend this beautiful, boutique hotel for some much needed rest and relaxation.  We were lucky enough to have the amazing suite as it was the last room left when we booked.  Although it was a little expensive, it really made our holiday.  It is wonderfully spacious with a huge balcony and a stunning view.  The kids stayed next door in Studio White so this all worked really well for us.  The hotel is a bit tricky to get to - we flew from Semerang and then took the ferry back to Jepara but it was really worthwhile making the journey.  It is in a fabulous location, right on the sea with a small beach and plenty of sunbeds. Delicious buffet breakfast and good food served in the 2 restaurants.  We also went into Karimunjawa village a few times to eat in the evening - don't miss the night market in the main square.  The hotel provides good quality snorkelling equipment, kayaks and beach towels.  We also had a great massage on the beach. Good idea to take water shoes with you as there are a few rocks/coral in the lagoon.  The staff were charming - very attentive and helpful.  They booked our ferry tickets for us and arranged a car in Java to take us to our next destination.  This really is a special place and was an excellent choice for us.

Breve Azurine is indeed located at a fantastic spot. We stayed for a full week, with family, a group of 10 people together, we had 3 cottages and a family house. The views from the veranda were magnificent, I could sit there for hours to enjoy it. 
The houses and main building are nice, well built and very tastefully decorated. There are so many places where you can sit and lay: along the beach, in the main building, near the swimming pool, on the pier. The swimming pool is rather small, but sufficient to cool down with a coupe of people and is very tastefully built and has some nice places to sit. 
And I should certainly mention the staff, who were all very nice. They are very friendly people and very helpful. They arranged everything we asked very smoothly: a boat trip, hiring scooters, calling taxis, etc. They all spoke English very well.
From the beach it is a bit difficult to get into the sea for swimming, it is best done from the pier.
The only negative point was maybe that we had to order our dinner before 5 a.m., it is a bit difficult for me to imagine what I want to eat in the evening, just after having my lunch.
So, it was a very relaxing week and I surely hope to return one day.
