The Sura is wonderful. We arrived a couple of days ago on the 10th of  October 2012.  Picked up at the airport, transfers are included with the accommodation.  Breakfast (also included) has been delicious.  The staff have been wonderful and helpful.  A special thanks to Vincent who was ever so patient picking up a grumpy pair of tourists at the airport.  The Bungalow is large and comfy with King Bed, big TV, aircon, fan, kitchenette, wonderful decor.  Next to Seminyak Square, shops and restaurants are handy.   Seminyak beach is a 15-20min walk.   The bar and traffic are a little noisy at night. As a light sleeper, I found the water trickle from the pond oxygenator soothing and blocked out the busy noise.  Sura is a cosy, convenient property with a lovely pool we had all to ourselves.

A cosy convenient property

I always stay here when I come to Bali.. Great location, located across Seminyak Square,
walking distance to Petitenget beach, La Lucciola, Kudeta, and other great restaurants and boutiques.
The best deal you can find around this area. The staff are friendly and helpful. If we need a car/motorbike, we can just ask them to find a rental. Even if you want to have a Balinese massage, and it's not expensive. 
A spacious bungalows, outdoor shower, and kitchen. The breakfast is delicious, a lot of choices. I love the banana pancake. :)

Great place to stay

Tucked away on a quiet street off bustling Jl. Laksmana in Seminyak, The Sura Bungalows is a wonderful little B&B with nice accommodations, good service, and great location. It was the perfect base for all our activities, like shopping, good eats, and a short walk to the beach. Our 1 bedroom bungalow was quite impressive: clean, large bedroom w/ living room, open-air kitchen and bathroom, a/c, and even a fish pond in the backyard! Service was also very good, with staff serving breakfast in your bungalow every morning, and arranging pickup to/from airport. Our favorite part was swimming and laying out at their lovely pool area after a day on the town. One thing to mention... Folks who are sensitive to sound may get annoyed by the band that plays every night in the bar next door, but the noise level didn't bother us. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay at The Sura Bungalows, and would recommend staying to any of our friends.

Impressive hideaway in a great location.

I stayed in one bedroom bungalow recently after being recommended by a friend fr Jakarta. This is definitely a good deal. Located in the middle of Seminyak, walking distance to Ku De Ta and many other interesting places. The design of this place gives you the warmth feeling like being at home, compare to the commercial hotels. The room is big and the outdoor bathroom is what you need. Since it's a small hotel, you won't see many people around this property. So, you'll be on your own. Just outside the hotel, there are shops and restaurants that open until late at night.

A good deal !

Its green, earthy and treat. The rooms were nicely and tastefully done, very close to the real Balinese decor. I was pleasantly surprised that with a hatched roof also the air-conditioning was pretty effective. The best part is the open-air bathroom which I saw for the first time in my life. The compound is green and the swimming pool gives a feel of a pond hidden away in the woods with plants all around it. Perfect location. Bang on the Seminyak square with many restaurants and boutiques around the area. 
The much required renovation is in progress and I would love to stay there again once it is completed. The only difficult part is the communication barrier with the staff, as most of them hardly understand english.
