This is a lovely B&B. Ignore some of the very unfair reviews left here. I stayed here for 3 nights. Lovely homely bed and breakfast atmosphere just like B&B’s used to be in Ireland. Loads of freshly cooked food - fresh scones - orange juice - fruit - toast - yogurts - as you want to eat. Rooms are spacious and the one I had No 4 had a fabulous view of Inniscrone Beach. Staff member was always smiling and very friendly. Centrally located and close to everything. Keep up the good work Ceol Na Mara and ignore those people who have Champagne taste but only Coca Cola money. I’ll definitely be back. Seán

Myself my wife and the kids decided to take a quick getaway from Dublin to a place we had stayed over the summer, as always the host does not dissapoint, great breakfast catered to our every need, adorable location a stonesthrow to the sea and a quick 10 minute walk to the vibrant city,
We keep coming back could not recommend this place enough, we will be back this summer!

Amazing stay yet again!!

This little gem is perfect for exploring Westport. Josephine our host could not have been more accommodating. lovely clean cosy room with en suite. Fantastic breakfast also. Very reasonably priced as it's right on the quay with fantastic scenery on the doorstep. A must stay.

Wonderful B&B

I Spent last weekend in Ceol na Mara with my girlfriend, we really enjoyed ourselves! great area to stay was close to everything and they were great hosts, Josephine was more than helpful and makes an extremely tasty Irish breakfast. The place was very clean and the bed was very comfy! We will definitely be coming back this year! Would highly recommend it.

Best Place i have stayed in a long time

This was like going back to the sixties,b&b.stair carpet frayed and furniture and carpets from another age .Bed linen and bathroom clean but one bedside lamp did not work and the window blind fell down .Not always someone around to talk to re garding any problems.Fairly long walk to the town centre .but location was good otherwise with bars and restaurants nearby .Would recommend looking for somewhere else at the same price.

Give it a miss

Very disappointing. No one there on arrival, we  had to let ourselves in. No idea where the TV sitting area was as no TV in the room. No heating on in the room. No mention of breakfast even though it is called a bed & breakfast.  Needs to rename business  to BED ONLY.  Left in the morning and still didn't see anyone.  Won't be rushing back. 


Not as expected

If turning up to a locked door, shown in by a disinterested member of staff, mouldy fridge in a cupboard, cold shower and being told by a man smelling of stale sweat that he’d fixed the lock to your room, but it pushed open again is your sort of holiday then you will love this place. If you want a hostess who thinks none of these issues are worth checking out early over, then book a week!

Needs complete overhaul of staff

AVOID.... This is not a decent B&B. The description will mislead you to think is a family house with fab breakfast. Well it probably was long time ago now is a RIP OFF. Surprisingly found out on the day breakfast was not included. House was empty and everything locked so unable to use other facilities. Room clean-ish but somehow they never vacuum the carpet. No heating and no one to see the following morning. The room didnt even have a chair to sit for a coffee. 75 euros (single guest) for just a cheap noisy bed. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Booked 2 beach houses for 2 families over 6 months ago, my card details were taken at time of booking and when I asked for confirmation email I was told they don't do email and when questioned this was assured my booking was confirmed and "in the book". Followed up today by chance to request baby chair only to be told by owner there was no record of my booking whatsoever and they couldn't recall any details. Very unprofessional, zero communication and now two families left with no chance of getting alternative arrangements for their holiday.
