I stayed here a few times for work all the rooms were tidy and clean, the staff are great and the food was priced well and delicious some of the most tender meat I've ever had and a lovely full irish breakfast in the morning excellent value for money I would highly recommend

Great food

Sorry about the title- running out of ideas. The hotel is a quaint place that’s family run. I loved it. It had a large, very clean room for us with 2 beds. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was large for European standards. I liked that we had breakfast twice (included) and the food was outstanding. I’m just sorry that I didn’t spend time at the bar. My son did. The staff member I met was so hospitable he made me feel like a regular. I’ll be back there for sure. 

Really nice place

We love staying here Staff are marvellous We are remembered and welcomed really like returning home. Rooms are very comfortable and food is fantastic. Very helpful and friendly staff. Situation is perfect for touring the west of Kerry with the marvellous coastal scenery, with fabulous views of the majestic mountains. Lots of opportunities for sightings of the famous Skellig Islands and many more beautiful islands.

Annual revisit

Lovely clean room and breakfast was extremely nice. Great comfortable beds. Staff extremely helpful and even though the bedroom overlooked the street there was no noise problem at all. We will be back again soon 

Had a great stay here on a golf weekend with some friends. We received a typical Kerry welcome in this beautiful location. The food was amazing (breakfast in particular) which was badly needed after a very pleasant evening in the bar. Staff are all incredibly welcoming and the rooms were exactly what we needed. Very clean, comfortable beds and nice hot shower after the Kerry rain! Great fun in the bar and will be sure to return and spend more time exploring the area and listening to Irish music.

Great Weekend in Cahersiveen

The hotel was very clean, the staff were very friendly, and the hotel was very simple (just how I would have liked it). Even with my picky reviews, I would say that this hotel was way beyond satisfactory, not to mention the delicious breakfast and dinner served there. Don’t let the outside deceive you, the hotel is a must-go for tourists touring around the Cahersiveen area.

Clean, Friendly, Simple

We stayed in the Kerry coast inn for a family weekend break back in February. We are 6 adults.

We were greeted by warm and friendly staff. The rooms are comfortable, clean and ours was particularly spacious for two people! 

From the moment we arrived, we were looked after and given recommendations of where to go. The town itself is filled with lovely, friendly people. We ate in the hotel there twice, big portions, good price and very tasty. 

We especially loved Gerry and who brought a gang for a good session and singsong till the early hours! Also (we think his name was) Jim the Barman who had us in stitches!!

We would recommend a walk around the town, a nice drive along the wild Atlantic way. Should we ever visit Caherciveen again we would be sure to stay in the Kerry Coast In .

Just perfect! 

I recently stayed the night at the Kerry Coast Inn and found it be excellent value for money. The rooms were fine and spacious, the breakfast was very tasty, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Parking is provided, the Wifi works perfectly and the room represents excellent value. 
It is not the Ritz it is fair to say, but it is also fair to say you're not paying Ritz prices. That said I would absolutely recommend this hotel as a base for exploring Cahersiveen or the wider Kerry area in general.

Excellent Value

Basic,. But functional.  The cost is far too high for this hotel.  The parking is lacking and signage to get to the entrance is non-existant.  It is old but has been remodeled.  I am not likely to stay again as other accommodations are much less and equal in quality in the Prince George area

Plain, but functional

A very difficult one to review, it could range from one star to five.
We arrived to an unmanned reception, and had to wait for the busy barman to find a gap in his serving of customers to be able to sort out our rooms for us
The room was well sized, clean, comfortable and pleasant, and very good value for the money, although we did discover that the walls were paper thin and we could hear everything from the next door rooms (and I’m sure they could hear my snoring)
We were a bit disappointed when we discovered that the blurb that had said live music every night was only applicable in the summer season, but the food on all three evenings was excellent.
Without a band on the atmosphere in the pub didn’t seem as warm as we had hoped.
We had an Ok breakfast, although the eggs were over cooked the bacon dry and the  toast arrived well after the main. One major problem was that the toilet paper dispenser was not working
We got back from a glorious drive round the  Kerry countryside and found the atmosphere in the bar as we had hoped, despite Irelands rather abject display against Wales. We were told by Seamus that there was a top class girl band playing that evening 
Having enjoyed another excellent meal we settled down in a good atmosphere to watch the band, and they were indeed very good indeed
But then a bunch of schoolkids arrived and with their first whiff of the barmaids apron took it on themselves to drown out the band with chants and repetitive shouting of Wonderwall
I don’t know whether this was jealousy or sexism over their schoolmates talents, but with this behaviour being condoned by the hotel staff it left a very sour taste in the mouth.
Sunday night could also have been bad, where we hadn’t been informed that food was stopped early for Paddys Day, but the excellent Seamus managed to sort out an absolutely great stew for us, despite himself and the rest of the very good staff being rushed off their feet.
And Sunday night was just as different from the Saturday, with the bar crammed  and the crowd in the bar making plenty of noise, but with the band, and not against them, and it made for a very enjoyable night, even with a good Wolftones rebel song to finish their set 
And just to finish it all off nicely, the Monday breakfasrt was very good, much better cooked and served, so I do suspect that some of the difficulties from earlier might not be representative, but due to staffing difficulties over the St Patricks Day weekend.
