Lovely one night stay including dinner in the Thai restaurant. Room (Preece) was lovely, very well styled,as was dinner and a lovely friendly atmosphere from all staff...lovely garden and beach walk too! 

Will really be popular once south Kerry Greenway opens

Hidden gem

Visited the gardens on Sunday 30th June. They are well worth seeing and a credit to those who keep this unique place going. Had coffee afterwards in the cafe and were served by the delightful Clodagh, who is also a major credit to the establishment. Looking forward to a return visit!

GREAT EXPERIENCE AND SERVICE!

Kells Bay House is the most beautiful place I've ever stayed - anywhere around the world. The price seemed very low for what we got! Our room was perfect, and had a stunning view over palm trees to the sands of Kells Bay and the Dingle Peninsula. The gardens are extraordinary - you feel like you're in a subtropical jungle. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - they even posted to me something that I'd left behind in my room. It is also perfectly placed for touring the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula. Would recommend 100%.

Stunningly beautiful, perfectly located - and at a moderate price!

The room was clean and spacious, the Thai restaurant was delicious, and everyone was friendly and helpful. The gardens surrounding the hotel were well maintained and beautiful, providing a lot of hiking area, both up the hill and down to the bay. The hotel is in a great location along the Ring of Kerry - highly recommended!

Great Hotel in a Beautiful Location

The Ring of Kerry has some of the best scenic hideaways Ireland has to offer. The Kells Bay House and Gardens is amongst the best of them.

We as a family drove down from Galway visiting the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher and stayed at Kells Bay as a start to our Ring of Kerry Drive. We stayed in a beautifully appointed suit. Two bed rooms and a drawing room with beautiful views of the bay.

Dinner was in their Thai restaurant and the food was authentic and excellent. Breakfast had choice of Irish and continental options.

The highlight of the stay was the walk through their gardens. The owner is an expert in Ferns and the garden is a tropical paradise. There are plants from all across the world and the thought and love that has gone into the garden leaves one mesmerised. They even have a sky walk - a rope bridge spanning a stream… a highlight for the kids.

A must see on the Ring of Kerry. Highly recommend.

Tropical Paradise on the Ring of Kerry

This is a very attractive and well appointed hotel with large comfortable rooms. We stayed in the Blennerhasset bedroom with fantastic views down to the sea and over to the Dingle; it is very quiet and there is a nice sitting room for guests. The staff were very pleasant and the food in the Thai restaurant excellent (red curry recommended). The tropical gardens are really quite amazing and well worth taking the time to see. The adjacent beach of Kells Bay is lovely and safe for swimming. A road that goes on past the beach for about a mile and half is a cul-de-sac but virtually traffic free and great for a walk. We watched a hare, a stoat with a vole and a kestrel as well as a variety of small birds and sea birds along the way. There was nothing we did not like!

Beautiful location by the sea with lovely gardens

Visited for the Patrick's day weekend. The first sight is a stunning waterfall and behind the cliff, gardens full of enormous tree ferns. The rooms are elegant and spacious.  The restaurant serves Thai food in the evening in  a dining room overlooking the bay. Staff were friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable and allow full use of the grounds, and rope bridge as well as private access to the sea.

A rare and wonderful place

Just returned from 3 night stay at this lovely hotel. The fern gardens are second to none and loved the sky walk rope bridge. Our room was large and well decorated, very comfortable and lovely view down to the bay. Plenty of choice for breakfast, and had one evening meal from the Thai menu which was delicious and well priced. We were looked after very well by Anne who gave us tips of places to visit. This is a lovely quiet place to unwind for a few days no matter what the weather. Do be aware it’s tucked down some narrow roadways so you have to be a careful driver. Hope to go back again soon.

Hidden Gem of Kerry

We had 2 suites, both were lovely.  Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms with bathtubs.  It was very quiet and we had lovely views of the bay.  There is a private walkway for guests down to the beach.  Free parking out back.  Staff was professional but maybe not the friendliest.

Lovely accommodations

We really enjoyed the gardens. It felt very natural but maintained. Loved the dinosaurs and rope bridge ! I would recommend to anyone. We went first thing and it was quite it was like we had the place to our selves. It was very busy by the time we left. Our dog enjoyed the walk too. Lots of her to see and sniff !
