Very accommodating, 100% recommend, Very clean, staff were amazing and very understanding, location was perfect and very affordable. Would return again and recommend to a friend, suitable for family with young children, lovely view of a bridge- Mic duff

AMAZING VERY CLEAN

One night stay in Walsh’s Bridge Inn , accommodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable.Great base  for  hiking Croagh Patrick . Breakfast was outstanding and staff were exceptional , friendly and professional and in a strained market Walsh’s Bridge Inn shows there is still fantastic value to be found , could not recommend highly enough.

Great pub and Bnb, Géraldine very helpful and great staff,fresh cooked food, Curry dish and burger excellent.
Stayed for 3 nights, 
Near Achill island and beautiful beaches in Mulranny and Achill.
Will be back 👍

Gréât friendly spot,

I spend a wonderful weekend in the hotel. Great variety of food with many options to chose, great people that treat you so kind, and the lend you the brand new bikes for to do the local trip in the green way. Is close to the beach mulrany. 

Inside the hotel the rooms are so confortable and clean. I recommend totally arrived here on your greenway trip.

The best place in the town !!

Lovely venue. We were a group of 18 . Some going on the greenway to Achill others going from Bangor Erris back to Newport via Crooklettercuss ,Slieve Carr over Bengorm onto the Western Way.
The staff were excellent and could not do enough to enhance our enjoyment of Newport.  The rooms were clean, warm, airy. Food was good, recommend the leek soup, excellent. Geraldine does a gorgeous pint of smithwicks.  Locals in bar well informed and friendly. The morning waitress was fantastic to get the group of us breakfast as chef was working hard in kitchen, we had minibus hire booked to Bangor Erris. 
Upon returning dinner was ready, atmosphere in bar grand, homely relaxed vibe. Would definitely return and use as a base to explore Mayo and Newport itself. Much better than Westport. Town also has two of the best butchers, local produce with fantastic recipes. Came back with the best black pudding had ever. 
Good value, lovely staff, great stay. Hope to return.

Wicklow Arklow walking club.

I asked to stay from Saturday 8th june 24 to 13th. I was told they hadn't saturday available so i booked somewhere else for saturday. They then phoned me to say they had a cancellation. I arrived late saturday night and went to room.  There was also no breakfast available to me as 8/830 was too early, i was told, so room only basis. The room was disgraceful, black mould, flithy carpet, rotten windows that did not close and uncomfortable bed. I phoned next day as nobody around in morning and requested another room. I was told to phone anita the next day. Another horrible night in room. I phoned next morning from work and was told i would be moved to room 5 and key would be left at door. Came back late at night only to find no key left. Into damp mouldy room again. Went to work with all my belongings and phoned anita who said they had no key for room and needed to get one cut. I told i had left to stay elsewhere and said i would come pay for my stay later if required. She said ok. When i went to pay her, she apologised and said that i should not have been put into that room that nobody should. She still took my money for the 3 nights stay. Absolutely disgraceful. It is a health and safety risk that place. Flithy dirty and should not call itself a b&b. They do not even service room just throw towels on dirty ground outside door.

Hellhole

Do not go here if you are an alcoholic or suffer from a terminal illness. Service us funeral pace. 

It gets 1 star from me only because it is the only bar in my 58 years where I was told they had no Guiness “gas issue” more like a management issue. 

So I ordered a Heineken, or so I thought. When I saw new customers being served I asked again. “ oh right yeah”

I did psychology over 40 years ago but I knew that the staff IQ was no where near room temperature!

When the Heineken arrived it had no gas! No Guiness because no gas but Heineken with no gas. 

I was beginning to have more respect for stuff growing in my greenhouse by the minute.
