Great hotel, very comfortable and welcoming, great for a few nights business trip.  Staff were very courteous and all requirements catered for. Easy links to the main towns especially Lisburn. I would definitely stay again if in the area in the future.

Brief stay in a great part of Northern Ireland

Absolute gem .
Just returned home after a 5 day work trip , the Ballymac is an excellent hotel , the room I stopped in was far superior to a lot of higher rated places , I’ve stayed in . Great food and a cracking bar . The staff are lovely and efficient, nothing too much trouble.

Absolute gem in a great location

Whenever I’m working in the north, I stay here at the Ballymac. It’s a great quiet place, nicely out of the way. I’ve never had a bad night’s sleep. The food is out of this world and using a hotel for business, I need the food to hit the spot and that it certainly does that! Great quality produce and generous portions, standards never ever slip. 
There are 15 rooms here at the Ballymac and they’ve just been updated and refreshed to an extremely high standard. 
With all the above said, the main thing that makes any establishment is the staff. Everyone at the Ballymac is one big happy family. They’re all very attentive and friendly. The staff are all long serving members which is always a good indication of how well they’re treated by their management.

Fantastic food

As a returning customer i could never fault this little hidden gem. Service excellent, staff always very friendly. New wifi system is great. Rooms clean and beds very comfortable. Food top class as always!! Another great stay, would highly recommend. 

Another great stay at The Ballymac Hotel

We booked the hotel for two nights in Belfast. The service was incredible. We arrived at 12:30 but they let us into the room anyway. The food (roast beef) was incredible, wifi was very good, next morning I missed my bus into town and the night porter immediately offered to drive me as his night shift was about to end. Next evening we ate at the restaurant again. The staff is so friendly, that rare mixture of fun and still professional. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and if you do go, order the roast beef!!

Lovely Place

I had dinner there today, 25/07/2023 at 3pm, and after reading some of the reveiws on line I was very pleasantly surprised. We where with the Turner party of 6 plus us and I must say any person(s) who give this place a negative review need to move to another country.  The serving staff, the bar manager, the reciptions today had the best customer service I have withnessed in many years.  The whole hotel is spotlessly clean and set in beautiful surroundings.  This is a real GEM of a place so very well done guys.

A real Gem in Northern Ireland

Just had the best meal here this evening, + everything ran like a well-oiled machine.  There was an abundance of staff, always available to assist, + no waiting around for anything ordered.  The food itself was delicious, as always, + cleared plates all around.  The Ballymac never disappoints, service-wise + food quality.

Although a little on the pricey side when compared with other local hotels, it is still my preferred hotel.

Good sized rooms - good quality decor, if a little dated, but lovely rooms all of them are large.

Restaurant - great food offerings and fantastic staff - nothing is a problem.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Terry, the owner took the time to advise us on where to go and sights to see as we are from the south and it was our first visit.
The rooms were amazing with a four poster bed and seating area. The restaurant and bar were excellent. The grounds were immaculate and the staff were extremely friendly. Very peaceful and relaxing. Convenient location for all the beautiful sights in this lovely county. Highly recommend and will be back
