We had the pleasure of staying in the pod, cosy and clean , had the little outdoor campfire going into the night, cooking sausages, watching the stars. Lovely setting, great for kids and will only get better as the gardens mature, Moira a lovely host, could not do enough for us and Pedro the dog so calm and well mannered, enjoyed meeting the other guests, tranquil and peaceful, the dawn chorus from the birds was something special, our only negative is we only wished we could have stayed there for longer, great place to relax, thanks

Little Gem

We stayed one night in the pod but I wish we could have stayed longer. It was comfortable and clean and felt very peaceful and private. The garden is lovely and the pod is very cute. 
 Moira's dogs are friendly and well behaved. The Gearagh is just minutes away. Great for photographers birdwatchers and walkers. 
When we were leaving Moira provided a scenic alternative route to Killarney which was very helpful. I'm very glad we followed her route - it was stunning.
 I hope to stay at Tig Lammax again.

Cute and comfortable

We escaped from busy town for a peaceful weekend and luckily found this place.  It is one of the few places we ever stay that we feel absolutely welcomed and at home. The host 's team including 2 dogs are very friendly. As we are very busy with our business we dont know if we will have another chance to come back but the positive memory about Tig Lammax will well last with us.

Lovely home lovely people

Our family stay with Moira for one night,
She is a great host togheter with dogs we been welcomed in lovely atmoshere.
The pod was spacious clean , very quiet to get nice reak from everyday run.
Close enough to Macroom town.
If you looking for different eperience the hotel is a good spot

Somethink different

 Nice area. Very peaceful. A good base for travelling around. Pedro the dog was very friendly. Our pets were welcomed. Pod was spacious and comfortable. Set in a in a lovely well kept  garden. Short drive to Macroom but a longish walk, so bikes or car needed. 

Good base for travelling around Cork

We stayed at the pod for four days, it made a great base for traveling around cork and southern Ireland. The pod is near new, with a double and a large sofa bed, which was very comfortable. It also has a private toilet and hand badin. The WiFi was via a TP link and to be honest was very weak to say the least. We unplugged this and used mobile internet. The pod is run by Moira who was friendly and welcoming. She also has a room within her home and a motorhome she rents as a room. There are kitchen and shower facilities via a building to the rear of the main house. This was ... Functional. If a  little tired. 

The guests are welcome to bring pets and Moira herself has 2 dogs, bare this in mind, they are very friendly by the way. 

Great for a base for xplorers and dog owners.

Corcoran's pod

We found the owner pleasent .the parking wasnt great only one by the pod on the property. I found that the pod was dusty in places so I ended up using baby wipes to clean it. The dog n the cat were friendly. When we pulled the door blind down for privacy  it was stained and dirty.the owner moira charged my boyfriend a cleaning fee when booked it and paid for it and this was what we got when we came up. If ur driving up use Google maps as u could eat get lost up there it's fairly isolated.the setting was nice and peaceful . I was very disappointed  in the pod and wouldn't recommend it to family and friends . I've stayed in hostels and other places and there accommodation was spotless unlike this.

Disgraceful

Had this place booked for 3 nts  travelled from Derry to cork which took 6 an a half hrs got to the place no 1 there to greet us with 2 barking dogs in the garden couldn't get anywhere near the door to knock with the dogs tried ringing the number provided it kept saying number not recognised the next door neighbours  told us that this happens a lot people come to stay and she is never there to greet them had to drive the whole way back to derry this was the worst experience I have ever had at a property if u ha e any sense do not stay here service absolutely  appalling
