We stayed on a Friday night over the six nation rugby weekend and what a weekend it was. Great central location. We arrived early morning and even though we knew our room wouldn’t be ready until 3pm check in we were still able to drop our bags off ready for a day of plenty of walking and exploring! Our room was just what we needed and super clean and fresh. We were very comfortable and I actually slept for ten hours which was amazing. We also had our breakfast the next morning included in our stay which was a bonus as the food was amazing too. Staff were very friendly and I really enjoyed the breakfast with a wide variety. This was close to shops and temple bar area just a short 5/10 minute walk away. Would definitely recommend and stay again. 

One Night in Dublin 

We had a lovely stay here, everything was amazing but what truly made our whole stay was the incredible staff. They took their time to chat to us and give their recommendations of places to eat, visit and walk. Very comfy beds and a nice shower. Special shoutout to Carolina and Lockie who were especially lovely.

Amazing staff!!

From outside it doesn’t look much but do not be put off as this is a super hotel. Not luxury but absolute comfort, room had everything one needed ,  the beds were very comfortable and linen and towels spotless. The room we had was ideal for a family with a double and 2 single beds. Tea making facilities and ear plugs which were not needed.
I would certainly stay there again and highly recommended it.

A great wee find

really great location, only a few minutes walking from Parnell, O'Connell, 15 mins from Trinity and Temple bar, 20 mins from Brazen Head (if you prefer more traditional music ;); stayed two nights, very spatious for 3 of us (5+ beds), clean, comfortable, spatious bathroom, kitchen ok, milk for coffee in the fridge, coffee, tea; really kind staff - printed our flight boarding passes for us! 
kitchen not just as well equipped as we got used to travelling arround Ireland (e.g. no bowl for salad), but we managed :) sorry that the fireplace is an estethical rather than a functional upgrade to the living room. door to the bathroom open using a bit of force (after experiencing a shock "there is no bathroom in the appartment???!!!"); one of the two sleeping rooms was really cold in the morning (April!) - no heating, and ventilation hole directly to the street - but my son luckilly likes to sleep by an open window :) for guests without a car getting the keys on another address (Parnell), quite a walk away, might be a problem, taking all the luggage - not for us, arrived with a rented car, and took a taxi to the airport on the day of departure.

Central, spatious, simple appatment

Amanda: came for my hen do weekend in Dublin and the girls had booked the Kingfisher apartments. 
The whole apartment was massive, the rooms were fantastic sizes, the bathroom was great with a Jacuzzi bath (I loved that the most) 
It was a great location, we walked straight into the centre for the drinks on the weekend. Right next to Aldi and Tesco. Loads of brochures with things to do so we planned our weekend quickly and easily. 
Would happily come back and book these apartments.

Fantastic apartment and great location

The apartment is huge. The bedroom is big enough for a double bed and a single and there is still plenty of space. The living room has 2 sofas, an armchair, table and chairs and a big TV set. The bathroom is spotless and the kitchen has all you need for a few days ( crockery, kettle, washing machine, pots). Coffe and tea ( with milk in the fridge) are provided too. WIFI is available but unfortunately it was slow: we advised reception and they fixed it for us ( although we left the same day, not their fault). The apartment is on the ground floor and in the hall there are many flyers and tourist info. The area is very central, no means of transport needed if staying in the City Centre. Restaurants, Supermarkets and shops are all very near. Reception is open 24 hours ( only 5 minutes walk) and it's a bonus as they can hold your luggage before or after your stay. Overall a great experience and good value for the price ( considering that Dublin is pretty expensive)

Family visit in Dublin city centre

We’ve just stayed here for a girly weekend. We had the basement apartment, which didn’t have any views, but we we’re hardly in there anyway.
The apartment itself was huge. We had two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with three singles. Spacious kitchen diner with a cooker, microwave and fridge / freezer, with a large bathroom off it with a bath and separate shower. 
We couldn’t check in until 3pm, but left our cases at the check in office until we could - note that you collect the key from Parnell Street and the apartment is on Capel Street a few minutes away. You have to pay a €20 for the key and only get one. This wasn’t a problem though as there was a night porter on the door who who lets people in (ie if someone heads back early and others stay out). 
The apartment is in a fab location, with an Aldi, Tesco and Lidl nearby. Your only a 10 minute walk from Temple Bar too. 
The only negative was that the apartment was very warm - we tried to turn the heaters down, but this didn’t seem to work. Also the shower is extremely hot, with no way to turn it down.
We’d definitely stay again. Great value for money, very clean and serviced daily. 

Great value 

Our room in this venue was a family room, which meant it had a double bed and two singles squeezed in.  Somehow this worked but there was not much room to do anything except lie down on the bed.  Not a problem for two weary hikers but it may not suit everyone.  The Kingfisher is well located for the attractions of TNS ("The North Side") of Dublin.  Actually many of the famous parts of the city are South of the Liffey and therefore a tram ride away but there are some locations very close by that were important in Ireland's struggle for independence.  Also the place is a short walk from where you catch the 747 bus to the airport, and this was handy.  

The Kingfisher's rooms appear clean and reasonably well equipped (for a budget venue, anyway). A couple of gripes are things the venue can do nothing about: firstly the building is about four storeys high, with no lift.  Although the Reception clerk offered to help with luggage I could not see how this could have been done without a lot of effort so I carried my bag up three narrow flights of stairs.  Also the room, being in the upper part of the building, was hot so we opened the window to get some air.  This meant that the street noises interrupted your sleep at intervals.  As I say there is not much the venue can do about that but what they could do is add restrictors to the windows - there was nothing to prevent our third-floor windows from being opened fully, and some might find that disconcerting.
