After a long journey to Killarney, we were quickly relaxed and chilled out in this lovely country house. We stayed one night prior to attending a wedding in Cahirciveen the next day. All the staff were so polite and helpful. Dining room is bright and inviting with relaxing music. Views are just beautiful with a quiet country lane nearby to take a stroll. We will definitely be returning again when visiting Kerry.

Perfect stay!

The view from the front door is stunning and then the beautiful smell of fresh flowers as you walk through the door. It's such a peaceful place surrounded on beauty. The rooms are superb, spacious and very clean. The breakfast was fresh and delicious - eggs any way you want it. The Nicholas Moss crockery for breakfast display is so lovely. We had a lovely glass of wine and cocktail in the evening together.

Stunning views, spacious rooms

Lovely setting overlooking lake, friendly welcoming staff, very good quality breakfast with many options available. Our room was large, very clean and comfortable. Parking is easy and there is a pub within walking distance. Very relaxing - I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Fabulous

This was our very favorite stay on a long UK/Ireland adventure. The hosts are wonderful and had some great suggestions and helped us with directions. The breakfast was excellent, and the rooms are huge and perfect. They even have a cute, little, very well-stocked bar and sitting areas both inside and out. The location can't be beat--you're already on the Ring of Kerry road and they are close to absolutely everything. Highly, HIGHLY recommend! (Also, don't miss the Killarney Brewery right down the road.)

Best B&B of our whole vacation!

We knew when we saw the pictures online of Loch Lein  Country House that this was going to be special. However, when we drove up, we were astounded. It was the loveliest country home I’ve ever seen and to call it a home is the right word because Paul and Annette and their son. Jack are a family and they treated us like family - warm and welcoming! They were truly concerned each day with our needs and anxious to hear how we spent our day when we returned from a hike or golf or driving the Ring of Kerry. Our first night there we had dinner in their restaurant. The food was amazing, well prepared and served beautifully by Jack. One day when my husband was out golfing I slept in a little and missed breakfast. They immediately asked if I would like coffee and not only brought me a pot of coffee in the lounge, but also a basket of baked Goods. So caring and their attention to detail - top notch! The room itself was spectacular, large and spacious with panoramic windows that overlooked the garden the lake and the mountains in the distance. The whole country house was immaculate as well as our rooms and the enormous bathroom suite.  We were so comfortable and by far out of all the places we stayed and visited in Ireland Killarney and the Lock Lein house was our favorite. We even recommended it to our next-door neighbors who will be , traveling to Ireland in September.  I believe they already booked their stay and I know they will love it as much as we did. Paul , Annette And Jack, if you read this, please know that we just loved our stay and if we get back to Ireland again, we will stay with you, but  longer next time!

Warm, Welcoming and felt like Home

Gem of a B&B. Secluded, serene setting. The hosts were extremely helpful in helping me map out my travel plans. The breakfast was great. It was a pleasant surprise to discover they also serve dinner. Dinner was well-portioned and delicious.

I stayed at the Loch Lein Country House Hotel with two friends during a golf swing through County Kerry. It was the perfect choice. Rooms were spectacular- large and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake.  The small honor bar was terrific as was Paul's son who discussed local beers and whiskies with us. Paul and Annette were great hosts and we appreciated Paul's wry sense of humor while serving a delicious breakfast.  We also were able to eat one dinner at the hotel and the food was very good. I would give Loch Lein a very hearty recommendation and it is a perfect base for visiting golf courses in the southwest.

Beautiful, peaceful base for visiting County Kerry

Staff, accommodations, view, cleanliness, friendliness, food are beyond AMAZING!! A gem of a find. We will definitely return to this property. The restaurants in the town of Killarney are also great. All of Ireland is wonderful as well. 

Best B&B experience ever

EVERYthing about the Loch Lein Country House is first-rate. Paul, Annette, and the entire staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. We felt welcomed from the day we made our reservations. The building and the grounds are magnificent and the location couldn't be better. The dining experience was wonderful and the ambience in and around the property was out of this world. We recommend it very VERY highly.

Wonderful stay hosted by the ever helpful Annette and Paul. Lovely clean accomodation, excellent meals and great location just off the Ring Of Kerry and 15 mins from the centre of Killarney. 

Ideal for family and friends. Hopefully we will be back some day.
