This is a beautiful house in a lovely setting. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and spotless. The breakfast was fantastic and was accompanied by freshly make granola, breads and muffins. We will definitely be back.

Perfect BnB

Lovely, quiet, picturesque accommodations with superb breakfast as well.  Everything that a B&B should be. Chris and Damien were very welcoming and able to offer local knowledge of restaurants and information about the history of the area.  Breakfast was simply 'as good as it gets'.  Yes, there was much to enjoy, but more than that, all that we had was home baked (scones, muffins) or freshly made (yogurt).  And each day we trotted off with a bag of Chris' scones and muffins for the road.  The room we stayed in did not have an ensuite; however, we did have our own very spacious bathroom just steps from our room.  And each day fresh towels and a large shower awaited our return.  Kind, generous hosts with much to offer.

Your stomach will thank you.

Bunlin Bay House. Wonderful house with lovely views over the sea inlet. Nice and quiet, great attention to detail. Warm welcome with tea and home made cakes. Lovely guest lounge with views. Excellent breakfast. Sent away each day with a bag of lovely homemade scones and muffins for our lunch. Very friendly and welcoming. An excellent B&B

Excellent stay

I don’t usually write reviews but thought Bunlin Bay House was so good that I’d have to share my experience with everyone. It started with clear directions from Damian and Chris to help us find our way to their accommodation. They must have known that our navigational skills are poor and their directions were a godsend. Their welcome was friendly and warm with lovely coffee and cake to settle in. The room was very comfortable and clean and the view was beautiful. Breakfast was the absolute high point with a plethora of homemade treats to choose from. The cooked breakfast was delicious. Definitely the best breakfast we’ve had in Ireland. We were even sent on our way with a bag of muffins and scones. I would recommend Bunlin Bay House to anyone who is planning on staying in the area.

Exceptional

It would be difficult to find a cleaner room or a warmer welcome than that we received in Bunlin Bay House.  A little out of the village of Milford, with lovely views,  this is a perfect place to stay when touring the area.  

We had a comfortable room and well equipped bathroom and in addition there is a pleasant breakfast room and lovely spacious lounge shared with only one other room. Even the best B and B places can seem a little like rabbit warrens but here one felt a feeling of space.

The breakfast was very good, setting you up for most of the day with exotic fruit salads, cereals, homemade bread, scones and cake, which you are encouraged to take away for your day out, not to mention the cooked breakfasts.

Best of all though is how Chris made us us feel like valued guests.  The downside is that we were sad to leave!

Highly recommended.

A wonderful stay

I think the previous reviews say it all...We could call "Bunlin Bay House" the "Milford Ritz" as the service is amazing, with in addition, the warmth of the welcome of Damian and Chris. We spent a couple of nights in the middle of July as we were going to a wedding in Donegal. Everything was perfect. I am not going to repeat what was written in the previous review but I could write exactly the same. Thank you so much for making our stay in Ireland so pleasant!!

"The Milford Ritz"

We were asked to cancel a few days before our trip as they could not cater to vegans, saying they had other people who wanted to book in.

We have stayed all over the world and always been able to find a decent, simple vegan breakfast. They had plenty of notice to buy some milk alternatives and dairy free spread! 

Thankfully we were able to find somewhere else last minute, and plenty of options for food.

Avoid if you have allergies or dietary requirements.
