My parents stayed here for two nights. Eugene & Margaret went out of their way to ensure my elderly parents had a relaxing stay. Even though I wasn't staying (I live nearby), the hosts had no issues with me spending time with my parents in the B & B and even invited me to join them for breakfast on their final morning. We were provided with tea & biscuits on arrival. There's parking on site and it's centrally located near to pubs, restaurants and the Botanic Gardens. Would highly recommend. Thank you to Eugene & Margaret for looking after my parents so well.

Great service at a central B & B

Hi there, we actually booked Marquerites House but do to a plumming problem we got a room in there other b&b Aghadoe House. Eugéne was very friendly. The room was small but the bed slept perfectly and the room was clean. The busstop is just in front and the airport only 15 minute drive away. We will definetly recommend this place if you want a effordable room, good service and a nice breakfast. Just know you have to pay by cash and there is no showergel or shampoo. And it can be a little noisy. 

Short but perfect stay

I had a very quiet room in the back, plenty big enough for one and likely big enough for two because of the second bed in the room. Bed very comfortable, shower with plenty of hot water. Hosts are splendid, extremely helpful and kind; travelers, themselves  I casually mentioned something I like to eat for breakfast and Voila! There it was on the table the next day!  Breakfast was good. Location within a few metres of several bus lines to the city was nice. I would definitely return here. I feel the rate was very reasonable for Dublin.

I would highly recommend Aghadoe House.  The owners were very friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to help us during our stay.  The breakfast was delicious; rooms were clean and nice.  They helped us with our travel plans and ensured our visit was smooth and enjoyable.

A verry lovelly place.
We were warmly welcomed  by Eugen and Margarete.
They have a really nice way to let you feel good and always have a nice word to say.
The place is good located as you are pretty close to the city center and have a good bus connection. 
The breakfast was also nice you have multiple formulas also for vegetarian and meatlovers. The rooms are quite small but nice equiped with private bedroom. 
They were really helpfull (organisation) as I wanted to surprise my girlfriend for her birthday.


Nice place to stay

Our hosts were lovely, friendly and fun. The only reason I did 4 stars was our room. We had the room off the kitchen and the WiFi didn’t work unless you went into the kitchen or dining room. It was a very tight room as well. We weren’t familiar with the electric hot water for the shower system & had a hard time at first getting consistent hot water. Eventually figured it out. Also, no hairdryer & I forgot to ask... I’m sure one would have been available if I had remembered.

Very friendly 

We have spent 4 years going to various Bed and Breakfast places in Scotland and Ireland.  Hands down, this was the worst.  The good news is that the location was great and the people very nice.  Bad news-tiny rooms that were so cramped you could not walk around the bed.  The beds were extremely uncomfortable.  Everything was very spartan and no amenities. Dining area was small and uncomfortable.  Very disappointing.
