This was only my 2th visit to this hostel I must say its brilliant place to stay in very reasonable priced very clean and tidy unfortunately no breakfast items this year but that's not really important I got a lovely welcome and all staff were brilliant and very helpful thanks to Brian and his team I really enjoyed visiting my home county up the banner looking forward to visiting next year 

Holiday visited 

Really relaxing stay, no hassle. This is a real quirky little gem in a lovely town. The location is perfect and overlooking the river is so peaceful from your balcony. Highly recommend. Very comfortable bed too 😊

So friendly, very clean.

What a clean and friendly hostel. It’s hotel spec. Rang 15 mins before as we ran into some car trouble and Joanna at recp was so kind and helpful. An originally tragic turn of events was trey sweetened by the kind hospitality and amazing hostel. Can’t say enough good.

Best hostel I have ever stayed I will be coming back!

I'm 100% sure this place is the best. Very clean, all staff are friendly, everything is so organised. My room was very clean and comfortable. I stayed with my son, he's autistic, I recommend this place for parents if have kids with special needs, no noise on room, no music around the building, he was very happy. 

Amazing place 

I stayed in the Rowan Tree with a tour group of 50 teenagers. The staff could not have been more helpful. They found a room in the afternoon for a study group (before our technical arrival time) fed all 55 of us promptly on arrival with delicious food and accommodated an open mic in the dining room at night and an orchestra rehearsal in the morning before checking out. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Rowan Tree to individuals, groups and indeed orchestras and choirs!

Athenry Youth Orchestra and Choir on tour!

We came here for one night with our youth orchestra and youth choir on a mini tour with performances in Bunratty and Sixmilebridge. 

The staff, particularly Brian, couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and
the food (which was brought for 50+ teenagers and adults) was prompt and by all accounts absolutely delicious.

Very good food. Lovely staff!

This hostel is clean, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The family rooms are comfortable and with the building right in the center of town you are right where the action is. 
My family and I would not even consider staying anywhere else especially during the festival. If you come to Ennis, plan to stay where many of the festival musicians stay.

The Trad festival

This was my first time at the above hostel and I'm sure not my last.I was greeted on entering in a warm and welcoming manner.I had booked a private room and from the photo attached one can tell they have high standards in place.Located in the heart of the town with a touch of old world charm.There is a separate kitchen,dining room and sitting room all with ample space.Even though I was supplied with two bath towels in my room I would have liked to see a shower mat also.And finally when I was leaving it would have been nice if I was asked if I enjoyed my stay.A budget hostel but one I'd recommend.

Hostel or Hotel?

We had a very large quad room, en suite, overlooking the river. Incredible self catering breakfast offerings, including eggs! The meals in the restaurant in the same building were the best we had in Ireland. The hostel provided free dessert vouchers for an amazing array of delicious desserts that we will never forget!

Hands down, one of the best hostels in the world!

We were delighted with this hostel. We had a private room with a private bath that was simple but met our needs perfectly. The self catering kitchen provided coffee, yogurt, cereal and more for breakfast —all maintained beautifully. And the restaurant on the premises was beyond great— best meal we have had in a long time—with organic, local produce and inventive vegan options.The town was really sweet and the host at the hostel was super helpful. A great start to our Irish vacation!
