Amazing time with the best host Elda. We had delicious breakfast every morning! Best location in Tuscany. It is close to Arezzo, 1 hour to Firenze, 1,5 hour to Pisa and 2 hours to Rome. We enjoyed our time! Thank you elda! 

Fantastic host 

We stayed with Elda from 02 of august 2012 untill the 10th of august. We had a wonderfull holiday here. Elda is supersweet, she's the 'mama' of the family and you feel right at home. Her cooking is superb, you should really ask her for some "antipasti', delicious! The accomodation was perfect, we stayed at the upper appartment which has airconditioning ( very usefull in august ). Everything is very clean, the swimming pool area was a blessing for our daughter. The water was warm and there were plenty of sunbeds. Your car can be parked inside the gated property. Breakfast was good, Elda's cake is the best! The city center of Arezzo is only a ten minute drive away, so you have all the utilities nearby. It's located in a small satelite village of Arezzo, where you can find a small restaurant, a grocery, a butcher and a pub. We will definitely stay here again! Thanks to her grandsons for the translations, because Elda doesn't speak a word of english, but we communicated well :-)

A perfect holiday!!!

The best thing about Elda Country House is Elda -she is just gorgeous, making us so welcome and making us feel like family. My daughter turned 22 while we were there and she even made us a special cheesecake and gave us some wine! Best cheesecake I've ever had too. The place is gorgeous -the apartment, the pool area, the village, everything! We loved walking the 2 minutes to the shops and buying fresh produce to cook in the lovely little kitchen. Her dog loves chasing ball and is adorable too. Great place to drive to other towns -Cortona is exquisite. You can also catch the bus out the front into Arezzo- don't have to have a car.

Elda is Adorable

Ms Elda was taking care of us as if we were her family, and we can say that we made an excellent choice deciding to stay in her country house.
The place looks even better in reality than it does on photos.
The house was our base camp for daily trips that we made all over Tuscany for 11 days in July. As it is seven kilometers away from the beautiful town of Arezzo, the evenings were pleasurable and cool enough, so that we have enjoyed refreshing evening drinks in the garden by the pool and a good sleep afterwards.

Although there were some unexpected technical problems with the pool and the garden (due to the recent flooding that they suffered earlier this summer) our host and her son (that lives in the other house on the same property), made extra effort to restore the place to it's full functionality.
The breakfasts that Elda served us each morning were called by my sons as: "breakfast in paradise" - need not say more.
The only problem you may find is if you do not know the word of Italian - because Elda does not speak English. 
But, we managed to communicate quite well - me trying to speak a few words of Italian, and Elda understanding a few basic words in English.
However, her son speaks English very well - so he gave us his phone and we could have counted on his assistance in case we needed one.

If you are looking for a quiet place near some of the most charming Tuscany’s towns – look no more because this is the right place to choose.
