My wife and I spent the first week in February at Lou Ressignon. Reserving the room was without problems, no deposit needed (Elisabetta trusts people!). We arrived late in the evening, were received with warmth by Elisabetta, who speaks a fluent English - and there was still time for dinner! Our room - the camera gialla, the one in the virtual tour - was spacious, clean and free of noise. The breakfast, which is a bit basic, OK (we supplied with cheese from one of the delicious shops in town).
The restaurant has a lot of ambiance and the service is perfect. The food is delicious and at a very fair price! Our wholehearted recommendation - and greetings to Elisabetta and staff.

A true gem in Cogne

Stayed here in January 2013 with my husband and 4 year old, for 4 nights. I had seen this "restaurant with rooms" on a previous visit to Cogne and thought it looked great.  We stayed in the Camera Rossa, twin beds with mezzanine level with extra child beds. Rooms are exceptionally clean and well presented, lots of wood for the cosy chalet feel, and all furnishings and bedding and are very good quality.  The breakfast is eaten in the room, you have a cabinet with coffee machine, kettle, crockery, cutlery and small fridge, this set-up works very well.  The breakfast is perfectly adequate with fresh bread left outside the rooms, and in the room you have crisp breads, cereal, biscuits, jams, honey, butter, yoghurts, we added to the breakfast by visiting the little deli just along the road on the left side, for some some cheese and local charcuterie.  We ate in the Los Ressignon restaurant twice, make sure you take a reservation in advance for evening meals, the popularity of this place is testament to the delicious food. Elisabetta is a most welcoming and accomodating host in the restaurant, offering child friendly meal options, to the already fabulous menu, we loved the food and wine.  Only criticism is that I didn't see a note on their website that they have a disco/music bar below the restaurant, and on the Friday and Saturday night we stayed the music was heard until around 2.00am in the morning.  However, we would absolutely return again, the room rates are very reasonable and you have a 10% discount from meals in the restaurant, its a great place to stay. Thank you Lou Ressignon!

Lovely rooms and fantastic restaurant

When we were visiting Cogne we had a perfect lunch here. But my partner got sick. So we decided to ask for room which was luckily available. The owner was really fantastic in helping to get a doctor, that visited in the room. Also the room was perfect, quiet, superclean, seemed as good as new. Very comfortable beds also. Luckily after a day of sleep her condition was a bit better in the evening, but not least thanks to really fantastic (!) care and help of the owner. We had a bit of dinner, as much as possible, which was again super perfect! Ok, it's Italy, food is generally good. But here... it's really top class.
We visited in winter. Cogne is a winter wonderland so perfect it's like walking in a beautiful painting. But please remember to use winter-tyres or snow chaines on your car. We didn't which was not comfortable to drive up and down...
Of course being a small place in a small town there are no such things as elevators, gym or pool. But gladly exchange those for a place like this. Chalet style.
Breakfast is in the room. Everything you need is inside a cabinet and you can pre-order fresh bread-rolls night before. It's comfortable and works very well.
Except for illness of my partner, everything else here was so wonderful like a beautiful dream. One of the best places I ever stayed.

Perfect

Wonderfully located small apartment building with a very nice restaurant. Relax and eat after beautiful walks through the national park of Gran Paradiso. We visited the place in the pre-season and were absolutely enthusiastic about the number of animals we encountered during our walks. Getting back to a comfortable apartment with good beds, own coffee- and teamaking...hmmm! The small balcony had nice views over the small town of Cogne and nearby Mont Blanc.

Relax in your own appartment and enjoy the very nice cuisine in the restaurant

We stayed 5 nights. The room was nice and the staff very friendly. We had a nice little balcony that we enjoyed in the afternoons after hiking. The bathroom was very nice and spacious. The beds were good although the pillows were a little too big and hard for my taste. The room also had a small refrigerator and we had breakfast in our room.
