When I booked, I thought I wouldn't expect anything great in such a small village, however the Palmensis hotel was a really nice surprise.

Overall
The hotel looks like it has just been renovated and has everything a hotel in this category should have. There is a small reception area and a slightly more spacious lobby. The hotel is air conditioned and there is ubiquitous wi-fi. The hotel is not large so it's not too busy either. You can enjoy a nice rest in the beautiful well-kept garden with olive trees and a massage pool.

FnB
The only thing that may be missing is the Alla Carte restaurant. However, even this is not a problem as there is a good family fish restaurant 20m from the hotel. And about 200m from the hotel is a good Pizzeria, where of course they serve other dishes. The hotel has a small minibar with regional drinks, where they can also mix you a cocktail. Breakfast is continental and served. Right next to the entrance of the hotel (in the same building) is a small shop with regional food (meaning wine, oil, vinegar, preserves and pasta) and fruit.

Room
My room was very clean, spacious with a minibar and the windows can be closed with an electric roller blind which completely darkens the room. The big surprise was the 2 spacious wardrobes where you can put all your stuff even if you wanted to stay for 14 days. There was also a flat screen TV, but I have no idea if it works as I didn't turn it on even once. :D 

Staff
The staff were very friendly and for my experience with Italian staff they were very hard working. I would easily trade them for what I have to work with. :D

A huge thank you to Hotel Palmensis and its staff for the holiday I was able to spend here. I will definitely come again next year on a similar date.

A little paradise

When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a lady by the name of Giada. She was an amazing person who always helped and advices  in whatever we needed or requested!. It was never an issue for her. She went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. The hotel was in a perfect position 60 meters away from the sea. From cleanliness to The room to breakfast to the pool just everything was great! Our whole experience in the hotel and all they offered was brilliant! This is thank you to Giada and her team. I recommend this hotel if you want a get away and a real 4* experience!

Amazing time!

Spacious and clean room with lots of seating (room 12). Beds were super comfy and the pillows were great, too. Check-in was efficient and complimentary parking available right in front of the hotel. Breakfast is from 8-10am and sufficient. Staff was friendly. We were not able to take advantage of the beach or pool unfortunately, but would like to next time! Not too much going on around the immediate area. 

Great hotel!!

We had a fabulous night at Hotel Palmensis, fourteen of us stayed for the start of a family trip – none of us could fault the place.  The staff couldn’t do enough for us from suggesting places to eat or visit to confirming bookings and even driving us all (4 round trips) to our dinner venue in the evening!  The location is great (the beach is a 2 minute walk, lovely place for lunch is even closer not to mention the stunning hilltop village of Torre di Palme being a 5 minute drive away.  We would definitely go back!
