A beautiful oasis, in a great location. Fabulous, spacious, well equipped  apartment, gorgeous well-tended grounds and pool, with fantastic attentive hosts.  Highly recommended. We would return here in a heart-beat. 

A very special place, run with care and love 

My dream house! Absolutely beautiful garden (don't know what bit was private, according to the previous reviewer?), I forgot to send my arrival time and marc still came out and met us as soon as we pulled in. Lots of info and so helpful but also very relaxed (in a good way), the pool bar wasn't attended when we first got there but we went and found marc and he was very helpful. The main road is just outside but this made it perfect for us, easy driving to arrive and on a bus route to go into Lerici. We were messed around a bit by another company so booked direct and Marc was quick to respond and very helpful. Can't wait to go back!

Dream house!

Excellent B&B, great breakfast. Exceptional gardens and friendly and helpful host.
Lerici a bit of a problem as no parking or driving through allowed. Not to be recommended for those with limited mobility as bus ride essential to access town.

Lovely spot

We have just returned from our holiday at La Musa we stayed there for 7 nights - It was just the best stay, the gardens and pool are lovely, the rooms are so clean and cool and the balcony. My husband absolutely loved the breakfasts. We had not hired a car so we used to get the bus which was the "S" from just outside the Hotel, which always arrives on time, into Leirici to sample the most delicious cuisine.  We were there for a wedding which was lovely but next time we will go back just for "La Musa"

A beautiful Guest House

It was not easy to find, because many gps could not get the address right.
We found it when we follow the directions and there is a little sign with the name La Musa on your left hand when you come from Romito Magre.
The house is big and nicely decorated. There is a big garden, almost like a park with different flowers and plants.
There is a small swimming pool.
Our rooms has a balcony to the back of the house with a view over the pool.
The room was beautiful with a tv and access to wi-fi.
It is not a quiet place due to the road near the house.
There is a pool bar and sometimes house guests can be a little loud when drinking at the bar late at night...
There was a good breakfast.
If you want to go to Lerici, use the bus, because you can park in center of Lerici, but here two parking lots outside the city center.
The owner gave us a great service, there even bought bus tickets for us and was very helpful giving information about the area, remember to replace the bus tickets when you leave.
They have there own parking lots for guests.
We have a great stay and will comes back some day

Excellent service and value for money

Reading all the positive comments we looked forward to our stay at La Musa. When arriving it took a while before somebody came to open the door. We informed when we would arrive, so that could not be the problem. An Italian girl showed us the room but she did not speak one word of English, so we did not get any information. Also the Italian owner was not really helpful. Luckily there were other guests who came there for several years and who helped us with information on where to go to eat,....
The nice garden you see on the website is not accessible because it is private. We talked to several guests and they were all complaining : the poolbar was not open, but you were also not allowed to put drinks in the minibar,... we found half a bottle of Duvel in our minibar,.. The service was poor : we had to ask for toiletpaper, when we asked to look at our AC because it was hot in the room, the Italian guy told us nothing was wrong because air came out of the AC, only the air was warm. On top of that you could not sleep with the window open because of the busy route closeby.   The breakfast was ok but the owner was sitting behind his PC in the breakfast room and you had to go to him and ask for you coffee,... we came from another B&B and the difference was huge,... We will not go to this one anymore because there is no atmosphere and we felt left on our own.
