Once we did the reservation we were informed on an email that "the spa, swimming pools, fitness centre and restaurants are not available as the Geovillage hotel is still closed following the Covid emergency". Surprised (COVID emergency in mid 2023?) I wrote asking if this was a non updated automatic message, but I never received an answer. They explained it to us the same day we arrived: some areas are still closed and few employees are running what they have left.

We totally understood what they meant: unnumbered staff which can't take care efficiently of the installations, super slow response times for urgent issues (12 hours without electricity after a storm, until we were asked to raised the electric breaker of our room (which it's ok) but also of another one on the building... also, 3 days without smoke extractor at the kitchen.

Room's door can't be closed, the water heater (located at the middle of the department) is extremely noisy, the TV is so old that it doesn't even have Internet connection.

Good sides:

A lot of green areas (full of mosquitoes, though).
Easy to arrive (following the location they send, not the one on google maps), easy to park.
Super silent location.
Well located, close to Olbia, with great views of the mountains, and a big supermarket nearby.

Deprecated and dissapointing

These Apartments do not have any of the facilities stated on Tripadvisor, there is no pool , no spa, no shops, the bus is a long walk from the site and is very infrequent the distance to walk to Olbia or the nearest beach is too far and too dangerous for anyone. The apartment is sparsely equipped for self catering but is the only option as there are no restaurants whatsoever nearby. If your happy to spend your evenings in the apartment with a bottle of wine and cooking for yourself from the supermarket a half hour walk with wild rabid dogs blocking your way then enjoy. Hiring a Car is your only option but is expensive and the roads are not busy but difficult to navigate lots of spaghetti junctions everywhere. If your flight is delayed as ours was and you arrive after 19.00 hrs be prepared to have no help from anyone the telephone number provided won’t answer I tried to arrange check in from 10.00 the morning of arrival as advised we arrived at 22.00 hrs and after numerous wassap calls and messages we still had no idea where we were staying or how to access our apartment. Needless to say I won’t be returning here. I might add that when we asked for a kettle and an iron they were provided promptly and the grounds are kept well but the apartment was not clean enough and we were greeted after every thing else with a toilet disgustingly skidd marked throughout. Ughh.

No Facilities, No Staff at Check-in, Dirty Toilet.

Apartments are clean with up-to-date amenities. The property is beautiful and well taken care of. The staff is friendly and helpful and management will go the extra mile to make your stay a wonderful one.

great location

We booked an apparent for one week. The location was not very nice. View on the industrial zone. The appt was clean . We had to pay an  extra € 149, in advance as a deposit. We left more than two weeks ago and I am still waiting for my deposit! In spite of several mails I wrote. No answer at all!! The “ Italian way”???

Very disappointing

It’s difficult to know what to make of this place. We arrived to find unhelpful staff who don’t particularly care for customer service; our apartment wasn’t ready for the (late) 4pm check-in and they didn’t know when it would be ready. The room itself was good — clean and with a full kitchen so you can make your own meals. Reception and main buildings are a bit 70s/80s and need to be modernised but the accommodation we had was fairly new. Beware, it’s all very spaced out so you have to walk some substantial distances to go between, for example, rooms and pool etc.

Gym and spa were good — one visit to the spa is included but you need to reserve in advance. 

Golf buggies can get you around but you you need to request via WhatsApp or at reception.

The main pool is fine, a little run down but seems good for families with children as it’s a very noisy area. Expensive for drinks, with two small glasses of Prosecco for €10 when you can get a bottle in the supermarket for €2,50. 

Overall this was an okay place to stay — needs modernised and some better customer service. Olbia itself isn’t the best place to visit in Sardinia, I’d recommend Alghero.

Stayed at Geovillage Green Residence for 10 days with my family.
Simply amazing.
The apartment was completely new with all comforts, very clean and with a beautiful garden around.
All the services of the resort (bar, restaurant, pool, sport activities, etc.) easily reachable in 1' by foot.
Highly recommended!
