I've stayed in some beautiful places around the world, but this has to rate as one of the best.

La Corte which is situated in a pretty area of Mestre, is in its own grounds, and is an absolutely stunning property. The grounds, and house is immaculate. It really is a grand building.

 We were just expecting a bedroom, but got a seperate living room area, and bathroom. The place was simply stunning, clean, immaculate and every detail taken care of. It even had a safe. The place is very safe, and you can leave your valuables at ease.

The breakfast was out of this world.  Everything thought of. There were pastries, ham, cheese, yoghurt, bread, fresh fruit, along with juices, teas and coffee.  The kitchen area was cosy, and you were able to talk to the hosts and other guests.

Although this place is a little out of the way, there is no need to worry. Christian the host offers a free transport into venice everty morming. Plus the bus from venice to Mestre was every 20 mins and only cost 1 euro 50 cent.

Of the hosts christian and his wife. You couldn't ask for more. In fact they made the visit to Venice even more special.  On the way to the place we got lost. It was nice that Christian got into his car, and serached and found us.  What was also nice he went above and beyond, and even drove us to Venice later that day. He clearly loved Venice and told us all the history, gave us information on the place, best places to eat and all the transport links.  He also took an interest in us and was very talkative.  Both Christian and his wife did make you feel part of the family. 

Will definitely come back to Venice , and stay here again. If you are looking for a place to stay whilst in Venice. Please make it here. You will not be dissapointed. 

Absolutely Perfect In Every Sense

Stayed here a few nights as a base to visit Venice and loved it. The rooms were practically new with marble floors and perfectly decorated. The "apartment" we stayed in consisted of a bedroom plus a full kitchen with dishes and utensils and a fridge with bottled water. The breakfast spread was simply fantastic with "mom" scurrying around to talk to us and bringing us coffee. 
Outside, the neighborhood is not very interesting and the closest bus line only runs on the weekdays but they have a car service to Venice (last pickup at 8PM iirc). On the other hand, this means it's very quiet away from the din of Venice or even "downtown" Mestre. The property more than make up for this small inconvenience by providing a great value. Highly recommend this property.

Terrific B&B

We loved every aspect of our stay. The room was absolutly amazing. The bathroom was huge and very impresive. Hospitality was above and beyond. We got the best advice for dinner at a local restaurant.  Breakfast was pleasant with a good variety and superb pastries. All in all, we highly recommend La Corte di Venezia.

The most beutiful room ever

Great room, great breakfast, great hosts. Massimo and his mother Laura were very happy to have us and made us feel like a part of the family. Highly recommend this lovely accommodation.  
There is a bus stop nearby, but only available for the weekdays. On weekends the nearesr stop is approximately 1k away. Massimo was very accomodating by driving us to AND from Venice, but we were the only guests at that time. When we departed, it looked as though they were going to have a full home. We never expected to be taken care of so well and would find it very difficult for him to be that accomodating with numerous guests.

Beautiful stay

Beautiful large room, great food, even better people.  Laura and Massimo went out of their to make everything perfect.  We were the first to stay in one of their newly built rooms (3 new in addition to three previous).  It was absolutly stunning, from the red venetian glas chandalier to the beautifully tiled bathroom.

The breakfast is not only sweets, but cheeses, Italian hams, yogurt, several kinds of bread and cereal for the kids.

We were picked up at the airport for a nominal fee, driven to our cruise ship post stay, and upon return, will be taken to the airport from the ship.  

Since it was a weekend Venice was very crowded, so we went to Mestre city center
(Driven there too) one day.  It's a lovely town with many nice shops and restaurants.  

In the evening there were several good restaurants within walking distance.

It was actually hart to leave such fin hospitality!  As another reviewer said you arrive as a guest, but you leave as family.
