I loved this clean hotel.  I have stayed in a few Nagoya hotels and what is important to me is being close to Nagoya station for my easy departure and also a fair price for a room.  This is one block from the station and an easy walk to and from it.  NO TAXI NEEDED unless you have too much luggage.

After some bad experiences with the Via Inn in Osaka, I was quite suspicious...but this Hotel met all my requirements.

Staff spoke basic English, rooms were in very good shape, clean and silent.

There is a Convenience store in the building.

Wifi was free...tough slow in the evening.

The brakfast is included and a good mix of western and japanese dishes.

If we ever visit Nagoya again, we will stay in this hotel again.

Wonderful Hotel Great Breakfast

The location is good which walks around 6-8 minutes to Nagoya Station. I suggest paying extra to select a bigger room when stay. I stayed for two nights only, so breakfast for us is ok but really not many choices for the dishes. The room is clean, and comfortable bed, sleep well at night.

Good location & Not Expensive

This hotel is situated in Nagoya station area which has plentiful choices of restaurants and shops nearby. The room is good but quite small (especially for 2-person room) when compared with other hotels in the same price. Breakfast is great and offered variety of choices. Anyway, during our 2-day stays, staffs seemed to struggle to service guests which is quite crowded.

A new open Via Inn hotel just opened in August and just 50 meters to this one, 
so make sure you find the right one.
A convenient store directly links to the hotel.
Many nice restaurant and maid cafe nearby.
Rooms & services, normal.

My family and I have visited Japan for many times. While staying in different grades of hotels, we can still have and are impressed much with the high standards of courtesy services provided by the hotel staff.
Unfortunately, the excellent hospitality image of the Japan hotel industry was damaged by the hostile attitude of the manager , mr. Kimata, of the Via Inn Nagoya when we were a group of 18 persons checking in on  8 Dec 2018. As the front desk and hotel lobby is very small, 18 of us had to stand and wait for checking in for over half an hour. Mr Kimata seemed to be annoyed by the  crowded lobby with the sounds of chatting about the itinerary among us and then suddenly shouted to us to keep quiet ! When we requested to move in nearby restaurant to sit and not to overcrowd the small lobby, Mr Kimata refused our request but later reluctantly accepted us to move in the restaurant as more other guests came to the hotel . However, when we all moved to the restaurant and sit down , mr Kimata warned us loudly not to eat and drink in the restaurant. The unhappy experience due to rude attitude of mr.Kimata would definitely make us not to stay again in Via Inn or recommend to other friends when visiting Japan
