Very nice hotel, very clean with beautiful, exotic, interior design and an amazing hot bath/spa/sauna included, and probably the best massage chair that I've ever experienced, all included with no extra charge!  Japanese style all you can eat breakfast was great. JR train station near by. A+++

Travelers who choose to stay usually plan to go to Kinosako Onsen but find accommodation costs of Kinosako Onsen too high. For me, I visited Amanohashidate and wanted to go to Izushi before proceeding to Kobe. To be frank, I didn't have expectations to this hotel but it really surprised me. They provide pubic bath, massage chairs, a comic zone (in Japanese only), laundry and vending machines. The room was big in terms of Japanese hotels. When I woke up in the morning, I found newspaper right outside (sad that I don't read Japanese). Breakfast does not look fine but consists of a variety of tasty local home dishes. It took me an entire hour to try everything out. Though their restaurant does not open in the evening, they provide set meals at a reasonable price of less than 1,000 yen. Shops around close early but still you can find some restaurants. You may ask a map from the front desk.

A hotel which shows meticulous care to guests

We stayed two nights here while visiting nearby Kinosakionsen. Located a five minute walk from Toyooka station, it also is a short distance off the main east-west shopping strip.

The hotel clearly caters to the business trade (to be fair, Toyooka is not exactly a top tourism destination) and has a boardroom-style look and feel at ground level. 

Unusually, there was a small guest lounge, with microwave and tea/coffee facilities, as well as reading matter.

Our double room was more generously-sized than many in Japan, as was the (slightly firm) bed. A key attraction is the well-appointed onsen on the 2nd floor.

Breakfast (included with our package) offered an extensive range of hot & cold Japanese & western items, with attentive staff.

We’d happily stay here again, should we need to be in Toyooka.

Great value and a sense of space

The hotel is in a good location,about 5 minutes walk from the train station.
Room is very comfortable and clean.
Services are very very good from house keeper to reception and breakfast staff.
Breakfast is good too.
Onsen is a plus.
This hotel is really value for money.

Shopping Mall Aity : closed at 8pm, route from Hotel to Aity is quite dark, but i think is quite safe, further up Aity there is a 24 hours convenience store

Quite Hotel in a Quiet Town

As we were visiting Kinosaki at the start of Spring, most of the Ryokans were either fully booked or charging fairly astronomical prices. Thanks to that, we decided to stay at the Green Morris Toyooka based on the good reviews and boy, were we glad we did.

The staff were genuinely friendly and ever ready to please and offered as much information as possible. The room was new and large by comparison to most standard double rooms in Japan and the hotel even has an onsen and sauna. Breakfast spread was adequate and they provide free coffee and even bicycles .. not much more you can expect from a 3 star rated hotel. And all this at a very decent rate. 

The train ride to Kinosaki Onsen station was less than a 10 minute ride and the hotel was a convenient 5 to 10 minute stroll to Toyooka station. Good restaurants and a shopping mall are within a 500m walking vicinity of the hotel or you can use a bicycle to explore this laid back and charming town.

A gem of a hotel in a lovely town !

Located close to the center of the "city", this is one of the tallest buildings in the area. 

Parking is onsite but access is cumbersome.  It is located on the back of the property however it is on a one-way street.   You need to cross the stream and go around the block to get on this street. Parking is free.  The front desk will issue you a parking pass.

The restaurant "Patio" is only open between 6:30 am to 10 am.  The breakfast buffet was alright.  Very Japanese.  Can't complain considering the price tag was under ¥600. 

The hotel has a communal ventilated smoking area, a community computer corner with internet access, a laundry room, vending machine room with a Japanese manga library which you can borrow from, and the second floor has a public bath house.

You can borrow a bicycle from the front desk if you want to get around. The town is pretty flat so this is an option considering that a lot of city highlights are a distance away.

Free coffee is available 24 hours a day.

As for our room, it was small but can't complain.  It was clean and serviceable. The room's bathroom was funny.  The toilet was not level.  I initially thought I had too much to drink because I was leaning left.  It does not affect functionality so no big deal but it did cause confusion in the beginning.

The room has free WIFI access.  There is a designated WIFI for streaming and gaming.  (Which was fast and very good for Netflix) and a WIFI for regular internet usage.  (Which also was very good)

See if you get one of the rooms on the top floor.  The view is pretty good.
