We stayed at VIPOD in April 2017. 
The room was great and the location fantastic but I have to warn you of some issues. 
1) this is a residential block and the rooms are leased in an Air BnB style. 
2) As of April 1 2017 the tower management have officially banned short stay / homestay lets of less than 6 months. So if you are staying there it is technically against the rules. Thai doesn't make for a very welcoming stay 
3) the pool which has excellent views is no longer available to use by short stay visitors. They won't let you passed the barriers. 
4) on arrival you will be asked for 500rm security deposit in cash! No cards can be used. This is not very useful. I will state that we had no issues on the return of the deposit. 
5) there is also a RM 100 cleaning fee that is stated in the terms. Just be aware of this 

The check in and communication from the guys was really good and I can't fault them for this. They were really helpful but the change in the building rules means they shouldn't be letting rooms anymore.  

Warning

Vipod Residences KLCC if you want a stress free Holiday think twice about staying there. Agent Gregory  and Eddy originally put us into apartment doublebed small room single bed and an old small sofa chipped cupboards etc. we booked with Booking .com for two bedroom apart Queen bed and two single beds and paid top Dollar. We objected to the Apartment   , after waiting 3 hrs and argueing with Eddy we were given Apart we booked, lost one day of holiday with stress, not told how to work TV, Hot Water System and not working cold showers etc  will not return keep away

First the positives - Great location for walking distance to many areas of interest. Security staff are helpful and diligent. The roof pool was also good with stunning views of KL and sun beds/area well maintained with helpful staff.

Negatives - my wife and I had rented for a two week period a "Premium" two bedrooms apartment located on the 23A floor (no 4s as this is unlucky?)  that included a cooker/microwave but no control buttons so unusable, one coffee mug and no cutlery knives, three bowl's (one badly chipped) and a couple of plates! Apartment was clean and the bedding new but oh dear what a disaster! Furniture was chipped and to say the very least, basic. If you don't have a sense of humour give this place a body swerve! It was booked via Hotels.com at a "Premium" price and to be fair after complaint some compensation but not from VIPOD who declined. Would we return - NO BLOODY WAY!

Great location - BUT!

Met by Omar at gate and was advised pool is not available for short term guests even though it stated it was when booking and still does!!!beware!!! Only reason I booked this apartment over others...was told I could use another pool at a different hotel via a taxi 10 minutes away... not an option with kids...once in apartment I found mould in bathrooms, vents clogged, bed sheets dirty, wall paper hanging off walls, dirty walls, lounge is actually a fold out futon which you can't sit on not what is shown in booking photos, a lot of street noise as your on a lower level...we reluctantly stayed one night out of our six booked because it was so late...then there is the management who kept telling me one thing and completely different thing to the booking agent which is another story in it self....I strongly advise to look else where as the pictures on booking sites are deceiving and you don't get what you booked.... very disappointed overall and it is far far from luxurious...

Do not book!!! Take this and other reviews as a warning!!!

I'm not happy for staying in this apartment first of all the didn't welcome us properly and the discerption of the apartments was not clear in the website and the furniture was scratched. But the location is excellent near than pavilion mall and KLCC. Be careful when you book in this apartments . Check the number of the toilets.
