I stayed at Kompo Villa for 1 month, and it felt like home.

I had a downstairs room with private bathroom looking on to the garden. The shower was great with plenty of hot/cold water and the room had both an air con unit as well as a fan. 

Kompo Villa and its sister property, a few meters away, Eco Rooms are run efficiently and smoothly.by Ms Puong and her staff.

Both properties are located within walking distance of the city's hub, Megamall and East Coast Mall. There is a nice walk by the canal which takes you from the guest house to the Vistana Hotel (upmarket property with a lovely coffee shop/bar by the pool), and to an outdoor eating  area with several stalls serving a variety of Chinese and Malay dishes.

Both properties are kept spotlessly clean, and they have additional facilities such as washing machines, fridges and communal spaces. 

Great value property, fully recommended on all counts.

Very clean, comfortable, great location, quiet and friendly - excellent place in Kuantan

We stayed in a 3 person room, it was a really simple budget homestay, towel and toiletries were provided. Located in a very quiet residential area in the town centre. Easy access to malls and shops nearby by car.

Value for money

As with most of the other reviews for this establishment, they are not wrong.
Spotless clean. Great host. Convenient parking.

just 1 potential issue, the doors to the room are thin. So even people walking by feels like they are right next to you. So if you are a light sleeper, this will be very annoying as what happened to me with other guests who were not considerate about noise levels. I suggest ear plugs.

Other than that, this is the place to go to for cheap, reliable accommodation. No frills here. You will receive towels, a couple of bar soaps, mugs, tissue and that is it. Anything else you are on your own. I would still gladly come back here.

Great place on a budget

The place is located at the end of a housing area. Not very convenient without transport.
beside that, this place is wonderful.
Wifi is good, aircon is cool, water is strong, beds are comfi, rooms are clean. 
Shared limited kitchen, laundry, fridge.
Wish we had more of these though out Malaysia =)

Good Place

The villa has large rooms with good beds and bathrooms. Aircon and hot water in all rooms.  Shared limited  kitchen facilities, and lounge with subscription TV.  Good price, pleasant proprietor.  Only disadvantage is that it's a a 20 miinute walk out of town (tho bus 600 and maybe others) goes past.
