Nice & comfort budget hotel in Melaka,  Convinence & easy access to everywhere in Melaka. Emphasize  parking lot.  The Staff are very friendly.  The food was amazing. We plan to come again nxt time for sure.

Superb!!!

I bought a package at Matta Fair so it was great value for money. I don't know the normal rates but I would think it would be worth it. 
The only issue I have is the steamboat dinner which came with the package; I was pleasantly surprised that the dinner was included in the package but the quality of the dinner was not good for Straits Settlement. My advice would be to dunk poor quality food as it affects the overall hotel standard. Perhaps, it might be better to work with nearby eateries or even the Portuguese Settlement food operators to give visitors some find of Portuguese food experience.

horrible experience. had to check out after only 2 nights instead of 3. asked to clean the toilet when we arrived because its moldy with lots of black spots on the WC, nothing is done until our 3rd day and i had to go & buy toilet cleaner and dettol & clean it myself! the mattress reeks of cigarettes & smelly. even the ash from the previous guest is visible. I'm not sure if they change their linen because i can see some lines & spots. oh my god, truly horrible! security is another issue. we were stopped by the kampung kids nearby and were asked for money for cigarettes & drinks right infront of our room!! what an experience! we had to immediately check out and forfeit the last night. urghh. oh, have you seen the tv? can you imagine having an iPad hanging on the wall for the room i stayed? its a big room with tiny tv & faulty remote control, full with dust & funny smell. the walls is moldy with little mushrooms beside the dressing table! i can go on & on. anyway the reception  guy is ok but the old lady makcik was rude! i will never come here again & will not recommend to anyone!

Horrible!!!

My room number is 312 and stayed for 1 night.  Its really terrible with the accomodation in this room. The bowl flush not function. The water too slow for bath and the waterheater also malfunction. Totally is terrible.  My suggestion is better find another hotel.

Better Find Another Hotel

As with other reviews on the same hotel, the ads for this place were gross misrepresentations.  It took us about an hour to locate the place, as the map location showed it to be along Jalan Tengkera, which it isn't!  And that was why I chose to stay at this hotel in the first place.  Asked around to no avail as no one seemed to have heard of this place. When we finally found it, the Front Desk staff were not the most helpful nor professional.  Despite the claims, there was No balcony, No refrigerator, No coffee/tea making facilities and the beds were more like hostel-class, although parking was ample and the location, whilst in the boon-dogs, was NOT quiet, with cars and motorcycles zooming past at odd hours.  The TV in the room as a tiny thing stuck high on the wall and only had free to air channels.  The "hotel" was essentially a collection of old walk-up shop houses converted into rooms, so rooms were one of three styles on the upper floor - and one even had a open bathroom, with only a shelter for the water heater!  You would be drenched if it rained whilst you were on the toilet!  The rooms on the lower floor were "Family Rooms" and supposedly had the refrigerator, although we never got to verify this.  The supposed Cafe was closed and the only food options was literally a mamak stall under the trees at the corner.  Overall, as it was only for the one night, and since Melaka was pretty much full over the Christmas weekend, we stayed and check out early the next morning.
