The staff at Vidanta Acapulco are the best!  We are always treated like royalty at Vidanta resorts and this was no exception.  We are especially thankful to Baldo Gomez and Daniel  Olea.  They helped us see all the great sights and were available to take us everywhere we wanted to go as well as give us great information.  We left there with two new friends and a great time at the resort.

My wife and I were here for our anniversary and the place was great! Food was excellent, lazy river was relaxing and awesome, swimming pool was clean! The people were very nice and accommodating! We will come back again!!

FIRST TIME AT MAYAN PALACE 

¡Hola! My family and I traveled from Chicago, IL to Acapulco in April of 2023. It was our Spring Break and we had a blast! 

The pools, shuttle service, beach, on-site dinning options, and staff were all excellent! Every time we came back from a day out at the pool/beach we returned to a nice clean room! The staff even left us Chocolates! 

We are satisfied travelers 👍🏼

The resort was clean, fun, beautiful, and family-friendly!

We returned this year for a month (mid Feb-March)
Got a great two bedroom facing the city, beautiful views!
We never got tried of the resort or the beach at our feet.
Because of covid concerns we ate on and around our hotel and found more then enough variety  to eat. We found the cost a little high but the quality and quantity made up for it.
Beach staff always greed me by name and appeared happy with their employment.
The music at sun set accompanied by two for one drinks was always a must!
A total A+ experience having a cold drink watching the sun set over the ocean listening to great music, l sitting here looking out my window wishing l was their.
Front desk and taxi area run first class! English was no problem throughout the resort.
The only bad experience was on one Thursdpay night at the golf green restaurant, the food was bad and the service worse given we were one of the only tables.
We did get to experience an earth quake and large wedding on the beach on the same night!
Looking forward to my return next Feb 2023 and have my count down on!

Another great vacation

It started and ended with the taxi service.  Jose Anica and Euriel #8 Taxi greeted us with a smile at the airport and they quickly became friends.  I would suggest doing the day tour of Acapulco with them and eating at the restaurant with Cliff divers. 
Jose and Euriel went out of their way to make us feel special. 

Mayan Palace surpassed all expectations. The  pools  and service were Spectacular! The views were amazing, the food was awesome! From Bell service to maid service it was very professional and very friendly! 

The beach was beautiful. I’d suggest bringing a boogie board or renting one at the beach you can do horseback riding, rent ATVs, Beach equipment umbrellas and chairs etc.
I would suggest the shrimp tacos from the restaurant at the beach 

We will do it again someday! thank you Myan Palace and especially Jose  and Euril for making our 35th anniversary trip phenomenal!!

Mayan Palace Acapulco a Mexico

We stayed 2 weeks in a one bedroom. Not a full kitchen but adequate to make breakfast. Sales only called twice and accepted my refusal to meet very graciously. 

Everything was beautiful here; pools, beach, grounds, and the weather. Pool service was sometimes hard to get, but not when Maria or Noe were serving. Food and service at the resort is outstanding overall. The beach has a side current and can have some waves, so I wouldn’t recommend venturing out very far without a boogie board. 

Communication was the biggest issue here, but nothing that we couldn’t work out. Everyone was friendly and we made new friends from Mexico and Canada. 

Carlos, Mr. Happiness, was our main driver. Tonight, he is celebrating a vigil to Our Lady of Guadalupe, but we left today so we can’t join the festivities. I highly recommend him.

Very Nice Resort

I had a wonderful vacation in Acapulco at the Mayan Palace resort.  The facility was excellent even with some construction taking place. I am not a member and did not get the sales speech, purposely. I had no issues with policies and procedures. The front desk staff did a very good job of answering any questions I had, no matter how many times I asked. They were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately I don’t have the paper that I wrote down their names specifically. The property has beautiful landscaping. My room was nice, basic (didn’t bother me) and it was clean.  And the staff was very friendly.  Also kudos and thanks to Fatima Salinas and Maria Cuevas, who translated for Fatima. Fatima, who works in the market, found my favorite sunglasses and saved them for me. That was very nice. Jorge Pineda helped me with my luggage, but more than that, he wanted me to know that anything I wanted, just let them know. The sincerity in his voice is what impressed me and his cordial greetings throughout my visit. Victor Hug great in making personalized changes to tours offered through the resort. He was willing to make changes to accommodate me. That let me know they were not just trying to sell tours, but pleasing their vacationers. Tour Guide Pancho (don’t have his last name) was very knowledgeable about Acapulco’s history and culture. I could hear the enthusiasm in his voice which made me want to really listen. One other tour guide, Galo Inglesias, I leave last to mention. Galo to me was more than the consummate tour guide. Along with his knowledge of Acapulco, he also gave me insight on so many nuances of the city and comparisons to where I’m from, and very helpful in taking me to do chore-like things like Covid testing and return of items I had purchased the day before. I made a comment about how he was doing his job, and he said “That’s my job.”  My reply to him was basically, “No, that’s heart, not just a job, and there’s a difference.”  

They were doing some construction work during my visit, not disturbingly so, and I’m sure that the upgrades will also be very satisfying to visitors in the future. On holiday, my goal is to explore the city to where I’m visiting, and that’s what I did, and that was a success and Mayan Palace was a part of that. All and all this was a very excellent holiday for me.

Mayan Palace a Plus for Me!

Beautiful place, always clean and personnel was kind and always willing to help. My kids had so much fun playing in the pools and beach. The food was delicious and affordable. If you worry about safety, don't be, it is a very safe area. I definitely recommend this place.

Loved it

We stayed at Mayan Palace Vidanta in Acapulco to celebrate our wedding anniversary. 
We had a great experience. The entire staff from front desk, restaurants, housekeeping were amazing. They made us feel welcomed, they were friendly and catered to our needs.
The pools are great and the beach is beautiful.  It’s also great if you want to bring your children. 

To get to the resort, we booked ahead of time at acapulcoforall.com by Sebastián Hernández for airport pick up service. Our guide was very knowledgeable, trustworthy and a safe driver.
