Central location is ideal
Hotel Hidalgo is a half block off the center of the historic heart of Queretaro, allowing for an easy walk to many of the historic attractions and streetscapes. Rooms are recently updated, clean and simple. The restaurant in the courtyard is a great spot for a meal and was filled with guests and wal

Great colonial choice in the center of everything!
I loved my stay in this quaint, colonial hotel in the center of Querétaro.
Location can’t be beat! You can walk to many stunning churches and several top quality restaurants. (Check out La Antojeria and ask for Isabel!)
The hotel has a gorgeous inner courtyard restaurant with live music some night

THE BEST HOTEL EVER!
I used to live in Queretaro and after 18 years decided to pay a visit. I am so glad I chose Hotel Hidalgo! It is truly a charming Mexican hotel, close to everything downtown and the staff, the restaurant, the beautiful courtyard and the comfortable rooms make it my choice anytime I return.

What a staff at the Hildago
I stayed in the same room as last year. Jose, the owner, is restoring all the rooms. He is updating everything especially the bathrooms. The staff is absolutely great. I fell and had to have stitches and Fabi on the front desk took me to an eye doctor that stitched my cut. I ended up staying ano

A Pleasant experience
Great place in a perfect location for exploring the historic central area of the city. Very nice staff, quiet at night and even though the rooms are very small, they were comfortable. Great hot water in the bathroom and water pressure. Food in the restaurant was so-so.

Super charming!
On a recent visit to Mexico, I took my mom and my college-age nephew to Queretaro. We were all charmed by this super cool, rustic hotel. The bedrooms are small, but they are very clean and the showers are great. The doors and windows are thin, so if you are a light sleeper, this may be an issue. I c

I booked this hotel through Booking.com, not knowing what type of a hotel except very convenient to the Centro, the first established hotel in Querétaro (1825), and the government crew of Santa Ana stayed when he made the Guadalupe Treaty with the USA, losing 1/3 of Mexican territory.

Noisy, but good deal for near to everything.
The rooms are smaller, but comfortable and updated. The first room I had didn't have a window to the outside, only a vent above the door to the courtyard (room got a bit warm, but the ceiling fan helped) - this was quieter, but got noisy around 7am when they started setting up for breakfast. The s

Noise is beyond earplugs
I have never slept less in a hotel due to noise. Stayed here for 3 nights, Wed. to Fri. Night. No dresser or shelf space to unpack, so lived out of our suitcases. Sink area has very little space, too. Completely renovated to modern standards with glass shower door, tile walls, new sink & toilet. Loc

Lovely Hotel. Horrible experience
Lovely Hotel. Very quaint and excellent location. However, the worst experience during our vacation in Mexico. Found our baggage rummaged and property missing. Made appeals to staff and emailed administrators but no response to address the matter. The level of disinterest was astounding. Is the ease
