Great hostel, everyone is super friendly and welcoming. They provide breakfast and dinner every day and it is super delicious. They even cooked something vegan for me, so if you have any dietary needs, let them know! There is also free coffee, homemade cake and fruit during the day. The beds are comfy,you get a towel and a lock without having to leave a deposit, they have an aircondition in the room that works super good and it is quiet in the night. What more could you possibly expect. Couldn't feel more home.

They even organise something for my birthday!

One of the best hostels I’ve been 

We had a great stay here! 

The location was perfect, we walked everywhere we wanted to get to. Stayed in a private room and it was absolutely spotless with towels provided. Both breakfast and dinner were provided for us every day and were different to the previous days and both delicious. What was truly special about this hostel was the staff - it’s family run and they really make you feel welcome and help out with any questions as well as offer suggestions. A special stay and we would definitely come back! 


Felt like home! 

Great hostel, super clean, air conditioned rooms. The breakfast is abundant, Mexican style with coffee and pastries on the side. Dinner is also very generous and delicious. Showers and bathroom facilities are super and clean, there is even hot water if you want! Great value for money. Really friendly staff who speak english, spanish and italian. 24 hour reception. Great sense of security. Highly recommend. Muchas gracias por todo chicos!

The place is awesome. Really giod location near the bus station with lots of restaurants and markets around. The staff is really helpfull and friendly. Great breakfast a courtesy dimner every night. The place is clean and secure. Fully equipped kitchen

Excelent place. Feels like home

I was in three hostels in Cancun while traveling. Orquideas hostel was the best one in that area thanks to friendliest stuff ever, great free breakfast and free dinner. 
YES. FREE dinner. Have you ever met a hostel with a free dinner? Me - not.

Centric location is also a plus.

Combining the awesome atmosphere made by the stuff, tasty food, nice rooms to sleep and cool travellers hostel attracts - for me it looks like one of the best hostels I've been so far.

Best hostel so far

Even when you are not an official guest at the hostel, you will love it here! The location is great, coz it’s close to the ADO bus terminal. The place is clean, relaxing, and beautifully decorated for your comfort and visual fulfillment. The people working here, like Rubén, are very kind and lovely. They kept my clothes for a whole week after their friend, Marcos, who kindly brought them all the way from the hostel where I forgot them in Oaxaca City. I strongly recommend this hostel with so much ❤️❤️❤️!!! Will definitely stay here next time when I visit Cancun.

Amazingly kind people

Hermes takes hospitality to a whole other level. He is incredibly friendly, personable and helps you out with anything you need. I don’t think I have ever received such kind hearted and genuine service from any hostel and I’ve stayed in over 100. You would be crazy not to stay here for your time in Cancun. Laid back vibes and delicious free dinner breakfast! Whether you are a backpacker on a budget or just looking to make friends and relax - this is the place for you!! 

You are insane to not stay here! 

My hopes of finding a nice hostel to feel comfy in Cancun were very low. Walking into the Orquideas Hostel, everything changed :) The place is characterized by the beautiful street art and the openness. Not only of the buidling with the backyard, but especially of the staff. They try help whereever it is needed - planning a trip, booking a transfer or recommending nice local places to eat. I like the simplicity, the cleanliness and the fresh food - and all this for a cheap price. Also, meeting people just happens naturally during the shared dinner every night. Go and see :)

A backpackers paradise in Cancun.

Really nice hostel near the bus station. They serve breakfast and even dinner. The staff is really friendly and speaks English as well. The rooms could be a little bit cleaner and there is not an AC in every room.
