Outside Pátzcuaro just 7’ drive with a great view and good service
The rooms and very nice also and spacious
The view to Janitzio is definitelly one of the highlights.
People were very friendly and always ready to help

Great view and location 

The views up here on El Estribo are always gorgeous, and usually we go to Hotel El Porton, but lately the food and service there have been sadly lacking. So we were thrilled to find this place, right next door. It's a hotel, but their restaurant is open to the public (only open for breakfast, unfortunately, but late, thankfully). It's cozy and quaint (get a table by the window for the best view over the valley and lake), the food is really good (mostly organic), and the service is that rare combo of friendly, welcoming and attentive. The server even came by to ask how everything was and if we wanted more coffee -- quite rare in Mexico. Great value, too.

Fantastic view, fantastic breakfast!

We were amazed with the view and the originality of the place. I really liked Ana we will return. 
The staff is fantastic and they do provide a lot of personalized attention.

Beautiful view 

We stayed for three nights and the staff was really warm and welcoming. For my wife's birthday they got flowers and a cake. They even help me sang "Las mañanitas" really great moment

Parking is available in front of the hotel, enough for the rooms they have. To move around Patzcuaro you need either car or taxi.

Room decoration is just like you see in the pictures, furniture is new rooms are actually a little larger. Patzcuaro can get a little cold at nights but the room had heating so no problem

Breakfast (only continental included but they have full service a la carte) was really good, service is slow but it helps that the restaurant has the best view. With some time you can "book" the front seating.

Awesome rest and view in Patzcuaro

Pet friendly, great for relaxing, and have the most awesome view of the lake. The rooms have jacuzzi, is little bit quiet and the staff is very nice. They take credit card. The give-aways are all eco friendly. There is a yard with a fantastic view of the lake during day and night.

Very enchanting inn with B&B qualities at the top of a hill in Patzcuaro. Stunning wrap-around views of the entire valley. Very charming and cozy. Not to be confused with a luxury hotel, this is definitely eco-friendly and bare in terms of ammenities, but the hotel does not claim anything otherwise so there's no reason to criticize.

Pleasant in Patzcuaro

The pictures of the room are deceiving our room was very small. The view of the lake made it worth it though. Thank goodness they supply a heater... it's very cold there in January. Not a real friendly staff as far we could tell.
