This is an Excellent Location and a Great Price with the Old Charm of Mexico
We checked into this hotel last minute as we decided to extend our stay on a whim.
We found this hotel to have spacious rooms, nice breakfast and all amenities to be in working order.
Our room led directly to the rooftop terrace and it was a perfect place to have a glass of wine and watch the sunse

Awesome Boutique Hotel
Awesome people running this beautiful, rustic, charming and quaint boutique hotel. Great location close to everything, beautiful and comfortable facilities and the views from the terrace are outstanding. But most of all the people, Magdalena, her 2 sons, Erika, everybody we had contact with were pro

A very special and place you can call home.
This is a tricky place to review, but I will do my best to be fair. Firstly, if you're looking for a silvery, shiny, modern place with a touristy vibe, this place is Not for you.
This is a place that will remind you that you're traveling-- in Mexico. That's what I look for when I travel and that's

Our stay was OK, but definitely some considerations before staying here --
We found the place to be OK & were pleased overall, "after" we changed rooms.
Our original room was the most expensive in the property, known as the "Quadruple" room. Ugly shag rugs, & the 2 beds that were sitting on upholstered & stained platforms. Definitely NOT inviting. We subsequently changed r

Romance with Flaws
Nice hotel in the Centre but with flaws, English mostly unavailable, strange distribution of rooms and breakfast over some houses. Very nice antique ambiance but lack of sockets. Nice terraces with view over the city. Attention: there are rooms without windows.

Centrally located but not worth it
We were thrilled to visit San Miguel De Allende but were not sure what to expect from the hotel. We booked the hotel close to the Dia De Los Muertos festivities and did not have many options to choose from within our budget. The building itself is very charming and goes along with the town. When we

Charming but way too noisy!
Great location, nice decor, eager- to -please staff who speak not one word of English. Midway during our four-day stay we met one of the owners who speaks excellent English He owns several scattered properties which, as we understand it, operate under the Casa Oratorio name. The other properties m

Deceiving photos for a terrible hotel!
Do not be fooled by the photos on the internet. This hotel is dirty, dingy, and depressing. Our room had a kitchen but no glasses, cups, or cutlery. The bathroom was dark and damp. The rooftop bar hadn't been used in a long time and was dusty and filthy...and the pool! More like a small hot tub!
