these is a very nice hotel next door for the airport
the rooms have a.c. cable tv and very clean and new.
they offer free coffe and bread,they also have chips and sodas with beers for a extra cost.
if you stand outside the hotel you can see the people over at the airport.the staff speak english and one of them told me that they were going to open a resturant bar next year.
the price for the rooms are worth staying.there is nothing much closer then these hotel .

CONFORT PLACE TO STAY

Hotel Aeropuerto is very close to the MLM Airport, you can walk or take the van.
Breakfast is very good. Eggs, Chilaquiles, refried beans, Coffee and Juice.
Dinner is available in the evening.
Small outdoor pool, and Gym.
Room was basic but clean and roomy.

Close to MLM Airport

I was bumped from my flight on American Airlines, so they gave me a voucher to stay at this hotel which is about two minutes from the airport.  It was a nice facility, very modern, clean and the restaurant wasn't bad either.  In fact it was better than hotels I've stayed at in the US when there had been problems with my flights being delayed.  If I had an early morning flight out of Morelia, I would most likely stay here again.

Not a bad place to stay at all!

We have been flying to Morelia for over ten years, and we always wondered what Hotel Aeropuerto was like.  We stayed there one night, after our flight out of Morelia was cancelled. Despite the inconvenience of the cancellation, the hotel really impressed us.  The facilities, the rooms were super clean, the staff was super nice, and the restaurant (Mr. Muu) serves delicious food at a very reasonable price.

They have a shuttle service, so even though the hotel is at walking distance from the airport, their van took care of us and our luggage.

My only observation is that the shower cabin's door got very slippery once wet, but other than that, we had a great experience here and we will conser it as an option in the future, for late night or early morning flights.

Unexpected pleasant surprise

Not sure where to begin but I guess we’ll start with trying to reserve a room via their website….doesn’t work …tried 5 times no luck. So I send them an email to their two email addresses , no response from either after resending within 48 hours. Ok…I’ll call..no answer first 3 times…4th time a success! Reservation made. Arrived at airport called for shuttle pickup. Ok 20 minutes, mind you it’s literally 300 meters away 20 minutes,25 minutes,30 minutes,35 minutes. So I walked   Hotel is locked up , lock on door front desk clerk let’s me in. Told her to cancel the shuttle since I was here already…she just smiled and looked at the two shuttle vans parked on front. Went to tell her my name for tbe reservation but she already knew and handed me my key. Elevator is scary, apparently once you close the door an outer frame slides over tbe opening…cute except that whoever installed it didn’t measure correctly and you can’t open the elevator because the frame (glass) is preventing the door from opening freely. Had to push with a measured amount of force to open but not break the frame. Room was clean but the mattress was very hard and they don’t have regular size pillows , just half size “cushions “ for pillows. They don’t use bottom fitted sheets on tbe mattress , they use top sheets that are not big enough for the e bed so they can’t tuck in under the mattress to keep them in place. There are no mattress covers on the mattress. Shower was strong but water was only warm due to their use of solar water heaters. Apparently there hadn’t been a lot of sun lately so no hot water. Breakfast was ok but the coffee was horrible. On the website the hotel looks good and in person it presents a good first impression but it’s just a mirage. Unfortunately, I needed to stay because my flight got in very late. Avoid if you can but if you must …be aware

Looks good on the web but….beware

I felt there for lunch due to a bumped flight.

Mexico is a good place to eat, this one it is not. Service was painfully slow, and the steak was like the sole of my boots.

I stay for almost one hour to get a beer, a single meat dish, and a coffee. 

As they have no competition, they can do whatever they want, and really, they do

And, finally I got my check, and, oh surprise!, tip  was already added. I asked the waiter to deduct part of the tip (in Spanish from Spain, so, no misunderstanding there), and he give me the change without deducting it. 

Finally I get a refund of the tip.

Price was not expensive nor cheap: Beer, boot sole (aka steak) with onions, coffee : 179 Pesos. Plus 10% tip, if you want to pay for it

We had a confirmed reservation, made in August for a stay in March, because we needed to be at the airport next door at 5 AM the next morning. The hotel staff refused to give us a room, or even a cot in the conference room. They said they no longer accepted private bookings. Their policy had changed in January when they decided to only rent to airline crews--but they hadn't bothered to inform us(or I assume, any of the other people who had read the reviews on TripAdvisor and made reservations). There were no rooms at the other hotel nearby. It was 10 at night, and we did not want to drive an hour back to Morelia. When they realized they were about to have two senior citizens spending the night sleeping on the couches in their lobby, they finally got on the phone and found us a room in Morelia (at double the cost of the one we had reserved there) and took us there. We had to get up at 3 AM to get back to the airport the next morning and pay for another taxi. A miserable and exhausting experience.
