I have mixed feelings about this hostel. I will start with the bad:
1. The facilities list it as having air conditioning- it's a lie. There's air conditioning in the common area that they never turn on.
2. The washing machine does NOT work. I paid to have my clothes washed and they came back smelling absolutely horrible.
3. Bathroom floors are perpetually damp.
4. The fans for the rooms are falling apart.
5. The stove in the kitchen barely works and the oven doesn't work at all. The fridge is filthy.
6. You're an hour walk away from the center, and the bus runs every hour (except on Sundays then there's no telling when it will show up).
7. Locals are not very receptive to tourists.
8. Good luck connecting to the WiFi.

Positives:
1. You walk across the street and the sea is RIGHT there and it's beautiful.
2. There's a grocery store a five minute walk away.
4. The staff- who was just one person- is amazing. She works incredibly hard and is very friendly.
5. The area is so cheap. I survived four days on less than 50 euros- including my stay at the hostel, food, and a bus ticket to the capital.
6. Because you are so far from the city center and the WiFi is so bad, you spend most of your time at the hostel or the beach and make fast friends with the people there.

I had the worst and best time in Kotor at this hostel.

Bittersweet stay

They should pay you instead of paying them for staying in this hostel. It smelled bad(piss). No one could sleep the nights we were there, it was too hot and the room downstairs was to little for that many people.
Going to the bathroom was an act of bravery.
The blond girl running it was more interested in talking with people(wich is great) than cleaning the hostel, everything was so very dirty. I would never come back and I was so happy to leave this place. People didn't want to go to sleep because it was like entering hell.
The matresses had a extrange colour suggesting that they received sweat of thousands of people and the smeel confirmed it.
NEVER trust the photos they have.
The only good thigs are the beach and that it was cheap.
