Oh my goodness I’m not sure where to start 
From the moment we were met at the airport to the minute we left we were made to feel special. 
Hassan and his team are amazing, effortlessly seeing to your every need. 
The owner, Stephen is lovely too. 
The riad is stunning, you can really tell that it has been lovingly put together and the attention to detail is brilliant. 
We stayed in the chameleon junior suite and loved it. 
The bed was super comfortable. 
The food served in the riad was some of the best we’ve ever had, and likewise the cocktails. 
The spa is a treat - the relaxation massage was out of this world. 
Before coming we’d read some of the negative reviews about loud music but there was none. 
Please don’t be put off by these reviews - this riad is stunning and if you don’t stay here you’re missing out.

We really enjoyed our stay here.   We liked that the property was a true Riad; a quiet alcove in the Medina.   We also enjoyed the Hamam which was a neat experience.  The staff were all top quality, friendly and warm.   

The restaurant was excellent.  The owner told me that his chef had Michelin experience.   His vision is to create a fine dining destination serving Marrakesh.  I suspect he'll succeed.   

Here is our insight on the music.  We stayed in the Elephant Suite which is on the second level in the courtyard that houses the restaurant.  It is also directly above the bar.  For couples who enjoy a lively cabaret style experience, this courtyard of the Riad would be very fun.  During our stay, there was a piano player with a tremendous voice singing standards and even operatic songs from Andrew Lloyd Weber.  At one point, we sat our our balcony and listened while he played.   It was a bit like having your own box seats.  

Couples wanting to avoid the music should book in the adjoining wing where music is not an issue.   We stayed in two really nice suites on the quiet side (which also houses the Hamam): the Zebra Suite and Gephardt Suite.  On both evenings, it was very quiet and the rooms were amazing.  The Gephart featured a private rooftop with a Jacuzzi.

Final note: we initially booked the Elephant Suite not realizing the music issue.  The owner worked hard to find a resolution and we ended up having a great time.  On the morning of our departure, we had a painfully early flight out of Marrekech.  The staff arranged to have someone up by 4:00 a.m. to prepare us breakfast and coffee before we left for a long flight home.

Luxury Riad, great staff, great restaurant, amazing singers

This Riad is spectacular in every detail. We could not have imagined a more luxurious and romantic setting. From the incredible staff right to the owner, Steve, who was too happy to engage all the guests in conversation. Oban, their signature Michelin restaurant, was top notch and the piano player singer extraordinary. How to imagine a more friendly romantic place I can't imagine. To the very few who complained about the music, I feel sorry for you, who can't enjoy this ambience and super dinner and drinks entertainment.

Expectations far exceeded!! The owner and staff were like family.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such genuine care and hospitality—it felt like stepping into another world. An oasis of peace and beauty in the heart of the busy medina.

Everything was handled perfectly. A friendly driver picked us up, and once we reached the medina, a staff member guided us to the riad. It felt like a culture shock at first, but we felt safe and taken care of. When the door opened, we stepped into pure paradise—quiet, serene, with birdsong and the gentle sound of water. We were greeted with coffee and macarons, and it instantly felt like home.

Each room was stunning and uniquely designed. The first night we stayed in the “Gazelle” room, which felt like a scene from 1001 Nights. Over the course of our stay, the owner even upgraded us to two other equally breathtaking rooms. Every detail was thoughtfully curated—from the colors to the luxurious materials. It was spotless, beautifully scented, and incredibly comfortable.

The staff redefined hospitality. They were attentive, kind, and treated us like family. From free tea to meaningful conversations, every interaction felt genuine. The owner, Mr. Pitts, is passionate about creating a space for relaxation. One night, he even invited us for drinks and shared his vision for the riad, staying up until 3 a.m. discussing Marrakech and his dreams for this place.
 
The live music was unforgettable—like a private concert. A pianist and singer performed jazz and romantic ballads, even taking requests.

This was the best food I’ve had in years. Every course, paired with a great red wine, was flawless. The live music added a special touch. Even though we booked one of the less expensive rooms, the hospitality and care were no different.

We also booked a massage at the spa, and it was the most relaxing experience imaginable.

This isn’t just a riad; it’s a magical experience that feels like stepping into another dimension. The contrast between the bustling medina and the serene world inside the riad is incredible. Every detail, from the stunning rooms to the heartfelt hospitality, made this stay unforgettable. I’ve already recommended it to friends and can’t wait to return.

If you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Marrakech, this riad is it!

This is the most beautiful riad. The attention to detail is incredible. From the moment you enter the riad you are greeted by the most friendly and professional staff. Every last detail is thought of. The owner of the riad Steven is an amazing host. Location is excellent.  If you visiting Marrakesh then this is the Riad to stay at.

I had the best moments in this wonderful riad prices are very reasonable the owner is super nice and welcoming and the manager Majdouline est un amour i love her and her beautiful smile the food is highly delicious so i recommend it sooo bad ❤️✨

Magnifique

This hotel is not only very beautiful, it blew my mind with its professionalism and kindness. I was walking by extremely lost and without phone service or a map looking for another riad close by and found myself walking through the door to ask for help. 

They not only gave me an opportunity to charge my phone, they sent a staff member to walk me to the place where I was meeting my friends to make sure I was ok because they noticed I had been having a hard time. 

To me, this is what true hospitality is all about. 

I am planning a trip back to Marrakech in November and will be staying there as a result.

What true hospitality is about

We absolutely loved this riad and did not want to leave!  The riad is down a few twists and turns outside the medina, but they come and get you in a golf cart every time you come and go, which was great.  The rooms and grounds are fabulous and the service is top notch - the staff are all so sweet and remember what you like.  The pool is lovely and Charley's bar is a lot of fun in the evenings.  The dinner was great and made perfect by the amazing piano player and singer Frankie - we would have paid to see him even without the food!  So talented. 

The owner Steve is very welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with him.  He has a music system that goes throughout the riad and while we were there some guests were complaining about the music being too loud.  I understand that may be quite annoying for some people but we were not bothered by it at all.  We would definitely stay here again and missed it when we left!

Our favorite place in Morocco!

Traveled with my daughter to Morocco in late June and early July.  Our stay at the Riad Noir d’Ivoire in Marrakech was the highlight of our trip.  We spent 3 memorable nights at the Riad and recommend it highly.

This is a beautiful Riad in a quiet section of the old Medina.  Really a very special hotel with a friendly and professional staff.  The Geupard Suite was fabulous.  It transported us back in time, was extremely spacious, and included a private balcony with our own rooftop hot tub.

For our last night, we had a wonderful French meal at the amazing onsite restaurant, then enjoyed drinks and music with the owner, staff, and other guests at Charlie’s bar.  Really can’t put into words how special our experience was at the Noir d’Ivoire.  We look forward to returning one day to Morocco for another stay at this magical Riad.

Special Night in Marrakech

We visited as a small group of 16 friends to celebrate a birthday. The whole experience was fabulous. The Riad is beautifully furnished with unique pieces to make it a haven inside the Medina. The staff couldn’t be friendlier or more attentive and everything we needed was catered for. Friends made use of the spa treatments with high praise and we all enjoyed the fantastic cocktails in Charlie’s bar! 
During our second nights stay we had a private function with a sit down gourmet meal, Moroccan Wines and amazing entertainment from Frankie the resident pianist and singer who definitely brought the fun and got the party started. 
We stayed in the Panther Suite which was huge and the bed was extremely comfortable. The balcony looked over the summer courtyard and pool which was an Oasis to relax in after a day sightseeing. Would highly recommend!
