We went to the roof terrace for lunch while visiting the Stupa. Beautiful food, lovley terrace, stunning view. The staff were also excellent. 
It was recommended by our guide and we couldn't have been happier with his choice.
Highly recommend a visit here.

 Excellent roof terrace restaurant.  Wow!  Superb food and service.  Possibly one of the best in Nepal!  The owner and all waiters kind and fast.  Very nice setting.  The menu is very complete for Nepal and other cuisines. No more than $15 dollars per person for a very good and savory meal plus beer.  Try Everest beer.

Excellent everything.  Terrific view, great food, reasonable prices, superb service.  Possibly one of the best in Nepal!

Amazing place, the best rooms are those with the view on the big stupa. The   restaurant on the roof terrace is cozy and welcoming and it also offers a nice view of the square. Great variety of delicious food from breakfast to dinner. 
The service and the staff are just impeccable.
The ideal place to get away from the chaos of Kathmandu.

Best Hotel and restaurant in Boudhanath

This hotel is in the perfect location to really get the feel of life round Boudhanath Stupa. We were really pleased that we had booked a room with a stupa view and even more delighted to have found Hotel Padma.
This hotel is incredibly clean, well furnished (it was renovated two years ago) and always has the smell of the fresh flowers in the hall outside Reception. Our room (205) was just what we wanted.....and more. The beds were amazingly comfortable, the bathroom excellent (with constant hot water) and there was even a large wardrobe so we didn't have to live out of our suitcases all week.
The hotel has a wonderful rooftop dining room where the awesome breakfast was served every day. There was an extensive menu and everything is cooked to order and beautifully presented, plus, the coffee is excellent. The kitchen is open to view as you go up to the terrace and the cooks are top class, making all their own breads, pastries and cakes.
There is no lift at this hotel which might be a problem for anyone with limited mobility, but we had no difficulty with the stairs and will definitely use this hotel again.

A Total Joy

A bit pricey for the 'nepalese standard' (50€) but the room was clean, the shower was hot and the service impeccable. Plus, there's an amazing view of the Bodnath stupa from the roof. The fruits salad in the morning just top all of that.

A sure value

We stopped by here for lunch before visiting the Stupa.

Restrooms are very clean here, hard to come by in Nepal in public areas.

The rooftop restaurant serves passable continental fare, and a few choices for Nepalese cuisine. Service was friendly.

The resturant also offers very good views of the Stupa and surrounding shops. Great for a break after all that shopping!

Popped in as part of a tour for a spot of lunch. 

Beautiful location over looking Bauddanath at the time of our visit there were only 3 other customers in the restaurant. 

Service was polite and friendly, lots of staff 8+ quite a few of them appeared to be training. 

Ordered 3 dishes to share which came out one at a time quite slowly, nicely presented but by local standard a bit bland and gloopy. 

With a beer and soda water the bill came to £14 which was average for tourist strip. 



Rooftop restaurant 

We went there after a long day of touring Kathamandu, the location of the restaurant and the views are amazing, quality of food is good. Toward the end I tripped down the stairs broke my ankle and hand wrist as the stairs were not maintained at all, luckily I Fell on my back and not face, they fixed the stairs only, no compensation for the terrible stairs and not even discount on the food, prices are very expensive we paid 12300 rupee and they did not come and appologized, no consideration for what could happened and what damages this could of caused me, I have a 3 days of hiking and trekking and I dunno know if I will be able to manage it, normally I do not complain but this encounter should not go unmentioned for all visitors to come!!! I dont think I will ever cone again for the very poor constumer service and relations.
