The deluxe double room was newly renovated and clean. The balcony had beautiful views of the sea. 
There was a shared kitchen in use, which was also newly renovated, clean and well equipped. The room was located in a separate building with only a few rooms. There was only one employee at the hotel reception and in the restaurant hall. Sometimes you had to wait for the service, but the service was still excellent.

Great room

We stopped by for a morning coffee on route to southern Lofoten, after parking up nearby and noticing lots of locals heading in. Very friendly staff, excellent cappuccinos and delicious cinnamon buns. So good in fact after spending a bit of time around town and the port  we went back for lunch, enjoying the excellent fish soup and more cappuccinos. Well priced, great staff, very good and well priced food and coffee.  Recommended.

We stayed with 4 people in the main house. Very nice view, but apartment was a bit small. Especially the sofabed that was to provide a bed for 2 people was too small. Luckily the manager of this hotel is very accomodating and organised an extra bed for us. Despite being closed on Mondays, he also opened the restaurant for us, so that we could have a nice dish of Bacalao, some cold beers and even a bottle of Aussie chardonnay!

We booked late and arrived late too. The people were very kind to us and helpful. And all of this smiling and with a good atmophere.

Friendly, helpfull and clean!

This hotel offers waterfront rooms, with fantastic views, with an affordable price. The room we booked had a great view of the water and was very large. The living area was missing a working light and was a little compact, but I had nothing else to complain about. The bedroom was very large, and was comfortable, with beautiful views of the parking lot, the water and the mountains. The bathroom was simple, but comfortable enough. The kitchen was also very good.

The restaurant had a small menu and just a few tables, so we made the choice to eat elsewhere around the corner and not at this restaurant. The girl behind the counter at check-in was friendly and was able to tell us about the area and the specialties of the Lofoten, like Northern Lights and whales. The parking lot was large enough, and the nearest supermarket is no more than a 5-minute drive away.

Waterfront rooms, with fantastic views, with an affordable price

Liked · We booked the sea-view room. Spacious room with separate lounge area and ensuite bathroom. Clean room. Nice sea-view room with great view of the water. Only arrived late and left early, so didn't make use of kitchenette facilities much, but had pots/pans and cutlery, which would be useful for longer stays.

Disliked · Check-in process after-hours a little tricky, with information sent in a text message to our non-roaming number, so required us to call the after-hours number on our arrival for instructions, but the staff member was very nice and helpful and there were no major issues.

Comfortable stay

Good rooms (basic but excellent), great staff with awesome service and a truly magnificent restaurant. 
Location is next to the harbor on the main road. Pub is next door.
The chef of the restaurant is extremely talented and passionate. We extended our stay because of the food!

Great place

Booked for 4 people, it was confirmed. But only made ready for 2, they tryed to sell us an extra room to solve the problem. Not ok to double the price upon arrival. However they did sort it out, but 2 persons had to sleep very tight on a sofa. Defenitely not a room for 4 adults.

Other than that issue, it was a nice clean hotel, directly at the waterfront. Bar and restaurant area, very cozy.

Nice hotel, but.....

Haven't been there in years but typical Norwegian. The fjord around it is beautiful and the pub downstairs will have a bunch of drunk Norwegians nighty.  Great fishing all around the area.  Nothing cheap in Norway.

Just ok nothing special very over priced. But typical Norsk. Plain and nothing. 

We had a small room with bath down the hall. All was clean, and the manager was very nice. The restaurant was not open for dinner (most Norwegian eateries have strange opening hours anyway) but for breakfast, which was nice. There were candles on the tables. The rooms was a bit on the expensive side for what it offered. Wifi did not work.
Close to ferry boat from the mainland.
