Daves Straw Hat Inn has been a benchmark for budget hotels on Boracay since they opened.  They were in business for near 15 years and were always one of the top rated hotels on Boracay with an extremely friendly, family atmosphere. I have eaten there many times and family have stayed there including last week. Janet and her staff would do anything for you and for sure treated you like family.

I would say for customer service, cleanliness and cost it would be hard to find a better option.Happy Trails to you all.

Thank you Dave’s Straw Hut Inn for a satisfactory customer service. Staffs are super nice and ready to assist. They even upgrade our room for free. The room and service is more than what we expected. The place is what you need after a tiring whole day at the beach. Wala akong masabing hindi maganda. Home in Boracay! <3

The staff are very friendly and kind. If you need them they will assist you always. The room is clean and nice. Thanks for everything, if I go again to Boracay I will visit again. Also recommend to my friends. Tip for the travelers - book the room with the AC because if it's only fan it's TOOOOO HOT!

Excellent place to stay at

This little gem of a hideaway is hidden down a path but only about 100 metres from station 3 beach and all that it offers.
 The room we stayed in was very spacious with plenty of storage, safe, air-con and fan, wi-fi and was spotlessly clean. There are no complimentary toiletries or tea/coffee making facilities but this does not detract from what a great little place this is.
 We had breakfast here a couple of tines and it was nice and plentiful, but there are plenty of places to eat close at hand if you want also.
 After a day of activities or sunbathing is was nice to come back and have a drink on our terrace here and it also has a fan on the terrace to make it even more comfortable with the heat and humidity.
 The staff are very friendly and helpful and are on hand to assist with anything if they can. We would recommend staying at Daves Straw Hat .

Hidden Gem...

I really like this hotel's  atmosphere and staffs. There is big tree at the center of this hotel.
I like to watch it. And the room is clean, there is mosquito screen for all windows and quite quiet. I could sleep well, and on morning, I heard bird whispering. It's so beautiful.
Staffs are very kind and polite. My cellphone is broken by sinking in the sea on a first day of my trip. But Thank to staffs, I could enjoy my trip even without watch and taking photo. Staffs made me wake up every morning, and told me what time is it now whenever I leave or come back to the hotel.
Lastly I wanna write about pancake which I ordered on a breakfast. I love it very much, It's not only beautiful shape, but also yummy! I can't forget it. If I have chance to visit there, please let me order again. Now I regret that I couldn't take this pancake's photo.

Very good atmosphere hotel

We had a nice stay, although a short visit, at Dave’s Straw Hat. It’s a nice short walk to the beach with many good restaurants close by!!! The room was EXTREMELY clean and the friendly staff did an outstanding job to make our stay most pleasure able. A special thanks to Ron and May....always smiling and could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable. Ron was most helpful with my transportation needs....THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I highly recommend Dave’s Straw Hat Inn!!!! The beach there was also VERY nice!!!!!!!! P.S. A nice welcoming drink as well....MMmmmmmm!!!!

Hats Off To Dave’s Straw Hat!!!!!

Dave's Straw Hat Inn is hidden away but just minutes from white beach. Since the moment I arrived I felt at home due to its relaxing and laid back vibe. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful, any problems I had they would act immediately. For the 10 days I stayed the room was cleaned perfectly and the bed was so comfy! I also travelled alone and felt very secure in Dave's Straw Hat. I would 100% stay here again! Thank you so much to everybody at Dave's Straw Hat!

Secret paradise

We enjoy our stay here very much. The bed and pillows are extremely cozy and the price of the room and the laundry service are affordable. We also like its position, very quite,  with local grocery stores on the side of the trail to it. There are also many tasty restaurant nearby. Although it's a small inn, the friendly staffs provide 24 hrs services and help us book a very nice massage.

A very pleasant place to stay

We had a great time staying. The welcome drinks, the garden, the walkway, the location and the staff are best. Me and my partner had a great time. Thou there were some problems but the staff are quick and diligent enough to fix it. 

Awesome Staycation

Dave's was a good spot to stay on Boracay.  Not over flash but clean and comfortable.  Food is served and we only ate breakfast and staff recommended dinner venues even though there was a dinner menu.  The service by staff was great, smiles and genuine attention at all times.
Recommend wholeheartedly...
