Our vacation at Holiday Golden Resort was wonderful! The cottages are clean and spacious, and the resort offers great amenities, such as swimming pools and a playground. The children were thrilled with the animations, and we were finally able to relax

We loved the atmosphere at the resort, which had very good enterteiment program.
For surethe majority of guest's liked it a lot!!!
Very friendly stuff, tasty food, maintence on very hight level.
Looking forward to go there next summer!!!

Perfect place for family holiday

We complained that music over 80 decibels, especially from low frequency sub-woofers, causes irreversible hearing loss in young children. They responded that children and other parents like the loud music. They have been informed that they are harming children and have taken no steps. No decibel meters or docimeters.

They repeatedly overcharged us and gave us attitude when we painted this out. They tried to double charge us for services we had already paid for and acted as if we were being trouble makers for not going along and paying twice. 

We never got an apology for the poor quality of hospitality. Never got an apology that we were over charged twice and then attempted to overcharge is a third time. 

Do not stay here if you have children and care about their health and safety. 

Do not stay here is you do not want to be repeatedly overcharged and then need to spend hours of your day demanding to get your money back.

Harmful to Children

If you are a fun of a loud music and a parent that wants to party and be entertained by hotel animation team this is a place for you. Music is loud there every day at the pool and then in the evening as well. On our second day polish Disco Polo music was going on till 12.45 am. If you are lucky and booked a golden lux trailor that's has AC working and ia at the very back of the resort then you can close your windows and block the noise out. Unfortunately, we we got a trailor that was in the center that didnt have the AC ugrade option. They charge you 50pln/day for the AC. It was 28 degrees inside the trailor at times so that forces you to open all windows and enjoy the sounds of music to whatever time they will go on. 

The music at the pool is very loud as well. The music comes from an array of speakers placed in one point  at the entrance of the pool.None seem to care that they can cause damage to children's ears.
When you ask the staff to turn the music down they do but it always comes back to being very loud again. 

The manager seems like a lovely lady. She is very sympathetic but can't really make any difference. She would claim that most people are happy with the hotel entertainment. I would say read all the reviews carefully you will notice it's not true. I made a mistake of not doing so and booked the Resort based on a friend's recommendation who was lucky to get their trailor in a quiet spot. Saying that the manager claimed they would move us to a quiet spot if one was available. When the manger isn't around the send another girl out to you who doesn't have any idea about the resort. She was messing us around for around 2hours at night time trying to get the AC going for us in a trailer that didn't have an AC option available.

If you don't speak polish you won't be able complain about the loud music or anything else  as they only speak polish at the reception except for one guy who isn't there all the time.

What bugged me personally was one lady at the reception Olga and her luck of any customer service skills. She is very rude and unpleasant to deal with. I don't understand how you can put a person like that at the front of the house.  Unfortunately, I had to deal with her a lot what made our stay even more unpleasant. They overcharged us about €70 by forcing us to pay in euro instead of the local currency. I have asked upfront if it's possible to pay in polish zloty which Olga said it wasn't a problem but charged us in euro instead.When refunding the wrong transaction she makes another mistake and refunds less that she charged us in the first place which we only noticed when credit appeared in our transactions a few days later.

The most frustrating thing was when you would explain it all to Olga she would shrug her shoulders and show you all the receipts with the wrong amounts on them. Eventually instead of apologising for her luck of competence she stated she learned something that day! Clearly she didn't.
I wonder how many other customers are unknowingly overpaing when using foreign credit cards?

When you look at hotel's website (I have attached a screenshot) it's clear for any polish speaker what's included in the price and what's not. You have one table saying what's in the standard ie swimming pools, bicycles etc then you have another table listing what you need to pay  on top of the standard that is mandatory (meals) plus another table  listing all the extras available ie 50pln/day for the AC. Yet when you arrive they will claim not everything in the standard table is included based on a pdf they sent you after you have paid for your stay. False marketing!

Due to hotel failure to fix any of the above issues we decided to leave after 4 nights and book another hotel. We had 3 nights left in our booking. The hotel refunded 4. 

On a positive note. The golden Lux trailers are in a good standard. Exactly as described. Saying that these are trailers and for that reason they get very got so AC is a must.
Food is very good. Nice selection. Good quality. They will warm up baby food for you no problem. You also have bibs and plastic cutlery available for kids.

The swimming pool itself is great. Brilliant for kids if you can get them to turn dow the loud music. There are 3 big slides beside the pool. Saying that it's not a massive pool but what the hotel does is sell tickets and admits external people to use the hotel pool which personally I don't thnk it's right. It's hard to find a sunbed because the pool is open to a general public not just the hotel guests. There are no sun umbrellas available at the pool.

The beach is very close. You just need to cross the road. The beach is lovely. Lazy itself is very small. Not much to do but, a few shops and restaurants.


Party oriented resort

The resort looked nice and well kept with plenty to do for the whole family. Two pools, great slides and soft play and an outside kids' play area... A great bonus is a location, right on at the seaside, about 3 minutes walk to the beach.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place, neither for weddings nor for staying in the hotel room. 
The restaurant and the wedding venue were very nice and elegant. But the waste of food was absolutely disgusting. They did not put anything in the fridges over night so actually all meats went green and disgusting. The choice of salads to go with meat and fish was ridiculous... Fruit salad with fried fish?!?! Really!?!? The only good thing were cakes served in small, manageable pieces. 
The hotel room we stayed in was spacious and looked good. The beds were big and comfy. Unfortunately the room service was non existent. We were given an electric kettle but no cups or tea/coffee facilities. Should I just boil water and pour it directly into my mouth!?!? There were three of us but we were given two bath towels. There was no shower gel in the bathroom, only three bars of soap that were of the size of a peanut. Absolutely ridiculous. 
I do understand that the caravans were self-catering, but hotel rooms should be equipped better than that.
