Great location, near the Mocanita railway station. The Owners are very nice. The pension looks really good.

They arranged for our breakfast to be earlier than usual, as we had to leave a bit early (had tickets to Mocanita)

Wifi signal very good. 

Not so great:
- The towels had a nasty smell after getting wet. (maybe use a different detergent? or more detergent? or add vinegar?)
- We had no shower curtain so after taking a shower there was water on the bathroom floor.
- No mosquito nets on the windows. It was quite hot during the night but we could not sleep with windows open as they had no mosquito nets and all sorts of bugs would enter.  (thus for us quality of sleep was not that great)

Great stay

Would love to give this place a good review due to the cleanliness, tidiness, lovely decor, etc., but just can't. We stayed here this past summer, and chose it due to the great reviews on booking.com. The owners/staff seemed mildly disgusted the whole time we were there. It was just a very distinct feeling of "you are not welcome here". All of us in our party palpably felt it. 
I have two theories as why we had a negative experience when so many others had such great experiences. Theory 1: Perhaps the regular owners were away and these were some friends/family taking care of things while they were away, and hated having the duty. Theory 2: Perhaps they just don't like Americans. (Part of our small group was American, part was Eastern European.) We are classic good guests, i.e. we are very quiet, leave everything in nice shape, thank proprietors for everything, pay promptly, tip generously, etc. In short, we're not the stereotypical rude Americans. 
Bizarre, just bizarre.

Very nice, very clean, lovely decor... but a definite "you're not welcome here" vibe.
