What was good

Firstly the positives...The location of the property is very good..just a 5 minute walk to the main street of svetlogorsk. Also the family room is big and spacious. The pool and jacuzzi were perfect.

What was bad

Negatives:- There was some mistake in booking from ostrovok (as the hotel staff told me) wherein I had booked a family room on the app but instead a smaller classic room was booked (the app did not have an option of a classic room for this hotel!). Since I was traveling with my 1.5 year old baby, I had booked a bigger room in order to give him space to walk. I brought the issue to the notice of the reception and duty manager, but they kept on blaming ostrovok for the mistake. Me being a foreigner was trying my level best to communicate with my basic Russian language knowledge and translator app. I think I was being very soft spoken and mature about the issue...but I think the duty manager could have handled the issue in a better manner, suiting the service industry. Just blaming the app doesn't resolve the issue...it is an equal responsibility of the hotel to check what rooms have been listed on the app by them. The app does not have an option of a classic room, so how could I have booked it. Notwithstanding ostrovok was very helpful to give a solution within 3 hours. These issues are an irritant especially when you are on vacation. Secondly I felt the breakfast menu was very average, especially being a 4 star hotel.
